LSD Redosing Question

I know your not supposed to redose because of tolerance reasons, but what if SWIM eats a microdose (about a quarter of a tab) then later that day wants to eat 3 hits and actually trip. Would even a very small dose around 20ug effect a larger dose to the point it becomes a waste of LSD?
SWIM is in this situation right now and would appreciate your view on this. Thanks

I dont think a dose like that would cause a tolerance, but that begs the question, why both with such a small does if youre tripping later in the day ?
