does acid do anything with seretonin? last night i got jaw clenching, which i thought was due to seretonin release. is that wrong?

No it doesn't. We don't really know how acid works on the brain. The jaw clenching you experienced would be simply to do with psychological tension brought on by tripping.

Actually, I believe that LSD, like most other hallucinogens, is a 5ht (seretonin) agonist. Granted, it doesn't flood your brain with serotonin like MDMA, but it does fool around with it for a while. They have actually found that LSD is only active in the brain for 30 minutes which deepens the mystery of EXACTLY what it does. The last time I tripped was on 2 tabs of Orange Sunshine about five weeks ago. I got MAD jaw clenching, i mean it was insane. I thought that I was going to break my teeth. I had to get my rubber toy i chew whilst rolling.

LSD is a strong stimulant (thus the sillyness in thinking acid is "laced" with speed)It is not suprising that you had the jaw clenching...that is pretty normal.
dont worry you'll be OK. I get jaw clenching problems when I masitcate to often.

Yeah serotonin doesn't have anything to do with jaw clenching. It's the fact that LSD is a very strong stimulant. It causes your muscles to tense up.
Some advice would be.....take 300-500 mg of magnesium an hour or 2 before you trip and it should reduce jaw-clenching significantly. Magnesium is a muscle relaxant. I do this before I roll or drop cid and it works.
