LSD Powder

I just tried acid for the first time this weekend and holy crap what an experience it was. I thought up and saw things I could have never imagined, to say it was a good trip would be a huge understatement. It's my new favorite thing behind cannabis. But getting to my point, the LSD that I used was a white, odorless, bitter-tasting powder. It was a little amount wrapped in tinfoil that was licked. I read that LSD in powder form is basically nonexistant, I got worried thinking it could've been some kind of dangerous chemical, but everything I felt and saw was exactly the effects described for LSD: kicked in about 60-90 minutes after, lasted for 6-8 hours (I felt off all day), and had an amazing trip. Could someone clear up this situation for me?
 
Yeah it is technically possible but I've never heard of LSD being sold as powder. It could easily be many, many research chemicals.

This simply can't be answered. Though I'd be wary of purchasing LSD in powder form again... it must be cut without something as well because pure LSD crystal doses would be damn near invisible.
 
Could have been a 2cx chem, its really hard to tell, though something tells me it probably was not actually LSD powder, if it was then consider yourself one lucky SOB!
 
sounds like you got 2c-x, that would be my very unsubstantiated at best kind of guess....

LSD itself in very active doses has hardly any distinguishable taste. Now acid from vials, that shit can be very alcoholic.
 
It was probably some 2C, or if it was bitter a tryptamine research chemical... they are VERY bitter, while 2C-* are usually more tangy and sharp tasting.

LSD is usually never sold as powder... the person selling it to you said that what it was because that's probably what you where looking for + that's what they had.

Still, its entirely possible to have a wonderful, eye-opening, life-altering trip on any number of RCs.

Enough pure LSD to trip very strongly on would not be a sufficient volume of material to have any taste. Besides, I believe it is known to be 100% tasteless.
 
What you took was almost certainly not pure LSD in powder form. An amount big enough to make a tiny little pile that you can see easily would be a MASSIVE dose. Without getting into rampant speculation, *pure* powder LSD is probably one that we can safely rule out.

There are dozens, if not hundreds of things it could have been. It could have been LSD sprayed onto some other powder or something, but it doesn't seem likely. It could have been one of any number of other psychedelics. If you've never tripped before, you would have no way at all to distinguish between them.

We don't allow this type of thread here, since all the rest of us can do is offer wild guesses. Your best bet if you really want to figure it out is to talk to whoever you got it from, or if you have any left, to look for a lab that will analyze the sample for you and tell you what it really is. There's no way to tell just by describing the effects; there are far too many psychedelics out there nowadays, and the effects of each one vary a lot between individuals.
