LSD, or some other PD in Vegas??

I'm planning a trip that I've been waiting half the year for to Vegas, and I was thinking of what I wanted to do there.

Alcohol, clubs, and gambling are a given, but I was looking into some other things to enhance my experience.

Would it be too much to do LSD in that kind of atmosphere? What are some alternatives if so.
 
What do you want to do whilst tripping? I mean in vegas that is. It mgiht be pretty cool had you the right circumstances and stuff. Overall though I don't see it being conducive to the kind of party hard atmosphere of vegas you seem to e buying into.

Have you any psychedlelic experience? If you do you then you know whether or not you want to already. If you're just looking to "enhance the experience" as you say then maybe you'd be more interested in bringing some amps or somwthbg.
 
Just get yourself some good MDMA and head for the nightclub scene. Hit up Drai's After Hours and party right into the next afternoon at Rehab! Ever go swimming when rolling? ;)

Las Vegas is the closest i have ever been to Hell-On-Earth.
A filthy soulless nauseating wasteland. Terminally delusional, greasy slimy sleazy sick. The city is an oozing pustulent sore on the face of the planet, & glorious will be the day it burns to the ground. it deserves nothing else.

for me tripping in vegas would roughly be the sensory equivalent to having bbq skewers shoved under my toenails while my eyes are gouged out with stiletto heels and my skin peeled off with oyster shells.

EDIT: for anyone inspired to trip in vegas by hunter s. thompson / fear & loathing, please do recall that he selected the city not because it would be a fun & crazy & trippy place to have an adventure, but because he wanted to infiltrate an American Heart of Darkness, for journalistic purposes...
and ~40 years later, the darkness has only thickened...

It sounds like your not experienced with psychedelic drugs.
And if this would be one of your first time tripping i would strongly advise against it.

stating the obvious...

sorry - didn't intend to come across as a militant hardliner, but i've been to vegas twice, as a kid and in my early teens (went with family, not my choice of vacation). both times it made me physically sick from the vile, diseased, & predatory energies, endless pavement and noise.
it really was hellish. so i reserve a special contempt for it. obviously there are many other places far worse...
 
An idea...

I recently split a Tim Leary blotter (WHOA!) with a friend of mine and climbed Turtle Head Peak @ Red Rock Canyon. Highly recommend a GPS and roughly 4-5 hours for the climb... not too fun getting stuck there when the sun goes down :\8o8o. Definitely a memorable experience "peaking" on the peak! From up there you will have an awesome view of the entire city/valley and the park.

LOL, I feel the same way.
 
I tripped in Atlantic City...not the same, but similar vibe I'm sure. I had a blast but in a sort of observer role. I didn't really participate in anything going on around me other than walking around with my buddies and just taking it all in. The slot machines all sounding off at once, with all the snazzily dressed old folks (was new years eve) made me keep thinking I was in penny heaven. hah. The whole night I literally just walked around and watched everything that was going on. I was with a good group of people I trusted and felt safe with, and was on a relatively moderate dose (mushrooms). I wouldn't have done it without my group of friends with me tho. There's just so much going on all the time that it would be easy to get into trouble if you lost yer shit for bit.
 
Jeez, what's with all the Vegas hate on here. I rather enjoy the place myself (of course I was brought there every year for most of my life so I may not know any better). I think it might be interesting/fun to trip there in an observational capacity, like catfish described in his related scenario.

I'm a fan in general of all things ridiculous, so it sounds like a good time to me, but do be prepared for some darkness if you're opening up to the shared consciousness level in a town famous for gambling, booze, & hookers
 
I prefer tripping on Psycho and Rad-X in New Vegas. Just watch your back around the Ultra-Luxe, people have been disappearing lately...

All broke people I know hate vegas.

And I'm a broke brotha who works a full time warehouse job but dammit when I get my income tax every year... I'm in vegas baby! Sexy sluty women, Clubs, gambling, and partying everywhere.

I can only imagine how live it would be tripping. Or possibly scary as shit?
