LSD or 2Cx visuals..

Yeah, one thing I got on LSD but not tryptamines or phenethylamines was that objects would constantly be changing size. I remember that I couldn't stop laughing at a beer bottle on acid once because I think it was the size of an ant and that I was towering a million miles above it. I've seen objects like cars balloon and shrink and size and that never really happened on anything else.

That's interesting, I've gotten quite the opposite in my experience. 2C-E visuals have always been "computer generated" in appearance, at least part of them. While LSD seems to actually alter the textures of matter itself, it looks incredibly real no matter how un-real the visual distortion is.

Ooo yes, i like how you state computer generated when describing 2c-e. I recall on my first trip that everything looked like it was made of pixels... 8)
 
hmm i wouldnt have called my 2c-e pixelated..

i could see the CGI vibe though. But in a really subtle way.

Its so hard wording visuals. Its like there is no dictionary for them. Each drug makes something different.
 
on 2C-E i would get visuals where i would see colours coming out of peoples mouth when they talked, and the colors would represent what they were saying... also people get positive, neutral or positive colorfull auras around them on 2C-E... the visuals make more sense to me and are more clear...

I've allready experienced the mix up of senses on LSD, hearing colours, seeing music, but it was so muddled up....

also i have to disagree that 2C-E gives a come-down, i've experienced at very high doses and had nearly no comedown....
 
Likewise Phatass I've never had any type of crash on it. It was just a gradual descent back into reality. Very pleasant. Although when I just wanted to sleep I took some pills. Cant stand that fidgety finish to the night.
 
First time I did higher dose of LSD (500ug) blew me away...it had been 2 years since I had done any psychs and when I hit peak I was so overcome with visuals swirling they created a thick translucent-opaque mist in the darkness which could only be penetrated by someone with a phone-light/torch. THen I got cartoon vision.

My first time with 2C-E I eye balled about 10mg, sniffed it...then was thrown onto my back on my bed and given the most amazing lightshow I've ever seen - all the images in my most wildest dreams were there - insane colours(predominantly hot neon pink) and letters and silhouette faces, divine light etc all overtook my vision, both forward and peripheral...ENCOMPASSING.
CEVs were amazing too - clearcut HD graphic visuals and more divine light.

After doing 2C-B the visuals didnt seem to be as good on 2C-E for a while til I did 25mg oral and then I was once again reminded of the amazing hectic storm of neon swirling webbing visuals that 2C-E gave me... visually I have found so far this to be my favourite substance... not tried 2CT7 so we shall see...and need to try a mg of LSD...but LOVING the 2C-E.
 
To me LSD's visuals are more profound, playful and imaginative.

I like the way things tend to dance and shuffle on LSD, and with higher doses it's impossible to describe what you're seeing. And yea whoever said they saw objects getting smaller and bigger, totally. I love the "curved mirror joker" effect I tend to get with it. Just when you think the visuals aren't strong, suddenly something starts morphing into really impossible sizes and takes assumes very odd and profound dimensions.

Alters your perception of reality to the max, illusions that will shock you everytime and make you jolly.

I would compare 2c-e to some of the DOx chemicals. They tend to look less profound, they can be more extreme but overall they don't feel as "right" or "natural" as LSD visuals. To me 2c-e and DOx produce "superimposed" visuals, where it looks like the patterns are "in" the wall. Wheras LSD produces patterns that look very Hindu/Indian/Aztec and tend to appear as if they are an effect of a transformation that is going on inside your head. In other words the LSD patterns look more natural and are extremely psychedelic aka mind manifested. A lot of times while on LSD I relate lots of the visual phenomenon as something that is happening inside my head instead of with 2c-e where it seems like "it's just a pattern on the wall".

For some reason 2c-e's don't seem as psychedelic and don't really shock me at all, there's less "mind manifesting" effects. The visuals seem to go less places.


You know it's hard to say which trip has better visuals for myself, because LSD is much more than visuals. While 2c-e can seem like the visuals is all it really has to offer.

I think I prefer LSD's visuals more just because along with the visuals I have an open mind and feel a great connectedness to everything that ever existed. Chaotic and peaceful.

That's what I noticed on all 2c-x's and dox's and even AMT.

I realized only during trips on those non-traditional psychedelics that I don't enjoy tripping just for the visuals. Although I like whatever mystery DOx I took for the laughing quality one time. I only enjoyed it because I took a "sweet spot" dose and it's a shame I wasn't sure what the dose or substance was lol. Seriously, it wasn't too visual or psychedelic but the fact it made me laugh at everything was awesome, I felt the joy of "if you can't laugh at life then it isn't funny anymore"

Generally on DOx and 2c-X and AMT I get bored, feel irritated or too stimulated. Sometimes I even feel stupid for taking a them cause it's such a wannabe LSD. While tripping on it I think "haha look at this substance trying to do the acid shuffle but failing miserably."

I suppose what I really dig about psychedelics is the mind manifesting qualities. The only psychedelics I've liked thoroughly are LSD, mushrooms, LSA(morning glory seeds[heavenly blues]), high dose DXM(3rd plateau), and salvia divinorum(technically didn't enjoy it but I was glad the experience happened). So profound!

This is certainly a hard one because 2C-I has some pretty colourful, complex and amazing visuals, but theres no connection from the visuals to whats going on in your head whereas with acid the visuals often have meaning and have a connection to the head-trip so yeah its hard to decide.

Ive done acid 20 or 30 times, 2C-I 5-10 times, 2C-B once(barely felt it), 2C-E once(didnt feel it, im devastated about that one) and 2C-T-7 a few times.

I think id have to say that 2C-T-7's visuals are the best ive ever experienced. I could almost control everything. I am a surfer and i remember just sitting in my bed all night riding waves and I felt the adrenaline and everything, that trip was by far the best ive ever had. But the downside is that 2C visuals dont really have the potential to freak you out, I like the absolutely twisted, sometimes evil seeming visuals acid gives and thats all 2C's lack apart from the head trip.

Overall I prefer tryptamines though. They are much better to explore your mind. 2C's are mostly for fun for me, pretty much party drugs.
 
general concesus seems to be that 2Cx visuals are "safer" and less connected to your psyche, allthough on very high dose 2C-E i noticed the visuals having mental meanings.... (i believe 2C-E is the most psychadelic mentally of the 2C family)

So i feel safer at a rave where i don't know people when on 2Cx, theyre more party drugs... whereas LSD i will tend to only do with good friends or everything gets too hectic in my head....
 
I love the mental side of 2c-e, how its basically normal but you are smarter.

Like I could be completely myself but have some very profound realizations and make brilliant connections.

That to me is a plus. I dont always need a completely different mindset, I enjoy an enhanced version of myself.
 
Silly question if u ask me. LSD will always have more profound visuals than any 2cx. Have u ever dosed large amounts of acid?
