LSD-no visuals?

Hey guys,i took a gandalf blotter ~142ug 2 weeks ago
Wanted to ask you,does lsd really give visuals?Because with that lsd,i had very slight visuals
The floor was moving but slightly,nothing mindblowing.

~300+ for me awesome stuff will start happening like colours bleeding all over the place, stuff melting (especially when its raining outside), things changing sizes, etc

On the kind of dose you had it's more subtle, like fooling around on phone/ipod icons seem to float around a little, everything looks brighter and more vibrant, stars move around

And then there's the probability that 140ug was an overstatement for your tab. And obviously its a different experience for everyone

more probably it was a lower dose, either due to it being laid that way or just degraded a bit. from what you describe it sounds like a low dose experience. you may also be somewhat tolerant....

lsd can be very visual, for me starting from 200ug upwards.

With lower doses it can definitely only give slight visuals.
In the higher doses (250ug+) is where LSD really starts to shine. And sparkle. And morph. And melt. Mmmmmm

I've taken significantly higher doses than that and never had remarkable visual effects. Some people just don't. The most I ever had was on lower doses; people faces become caricatures, colours shift through the spectrum and become brighter, a sign once melted in front of my eyes (but I was also on mescaline). It's all pretty cool but it's not what you really came for anyway.

Also, 142 micrograms? That's oddly specific. I wouldn't trust that number or that it's that high, those are some pretty strong hits by today's standards.

Some people require higher doses for visuals. Others never get visuals no matter how much they take, though this is more rare.

Assuming it's LSD, next time try increasing your dose.

even the guy who soaked them has no way of telling you precisely what amount is on each blotter. he can only give you an approximation

there's no way the guy who gave it to you had any idea of the dosage. the precision he gave you is ridiculous
there may as well have only been 20ug on it

do you know with certitude what dose you took, and that it was actually a high dose?
because if not, it's much more probable that you just need more

blotters these days are often extremely weak
it wouldn't be surprising to need 10 of them to get what used to be expected of one

You know, LSD is a funny thing, one of the most powerful mental and spiritual trips I ever had (four tabs of fairly good 90s blotter) had next to no visuals. I felt a telepathic link with my good friend and played like children for hours in a deserted park finishing each others thoughts and rolling down grassy hills. It was wonderful, but no visuals other than a few sparkly pixels here and there.
The same stuff a week later by myself was all about the visuals and the sounds.

Assuming you actually have LSD some people do not get any visuals at all when they trip, even if other people do get visuals from the same LSD/dosage.

^ You need to find a close circle of people who break raw down. That way you get the more personal batches meant for the person and their friends. If you look in the right places you will find high mic'd paper, dots, gels, liquid and other concoctions. The reason you commonly see a range of ultra low dosages (barely active) to ~100 ug so often is due to the price of raw. For most, the price of a single gur is more than most people vehicles. When the prices drop the dosages goes up.

OP-I doubt you took 142 ug. That number was most likely a random dosage thrown to you by the supplier. If they laid the paper they have a very good idea of the dosage but 142 is very random. LSD certainly has visuals but, dosage and quality of visuals will vary batch to batch and person to person. There are times when you can enter a melting rainbow fractal land starting around 150 ug (sometimes even around 120 ug). Others need much higher. 250-300 ug starts to really get things going. Another aspect is many users of LSD have no idea the dosage they are taking. Lot's of times people often think they are consuming a much higher dose then they are. . For example, when they think the paper they have is 100 ug its in reality 45ug. That is not to say there aren't people who are certain of the dosages they use. You can even read it through various trip reports these days. A 300 ug experience is pretty deep and easy to fully immerse yourself in the experience. With the LSD I always take I personally get good visuals starting at 120 ug.
Setting will play a big role. But, as the dosages increase the ability to "control" your visual field becomes impossible. Indoors visuals are more pronounced on lower dosages then outside. But, I find at 120 ug is when it really gets started and you stop being able to "ignore" the melting, morphing, dissolving etc.
If you are looking for a deeper experience you need to probably eat more LSD.
