i have been completely obsessed with alice in wonderland for years. i am positive you do not know someone more obsessed than me haha. i have the original book imprinted in gold, the annotated alice, 4 realllyyy old alice in wonderland movies, of course the cartoon, i also had the new movie before any one else in southern california haha for i know someone in the business that worked in this movie who knows that id faint when i saw it haha. and of course the new released one. my room is alice in wonderland themed and i have 10 costumes from the movie custom made for me. ive been in 3 alice plays haha. so you can imagine my excitement when i had the chance to fry the first day it came out
omgg
sooo..
-we got to the movie 2 hours before. we were second in line.
-then we took 2 tabs wrapped in gum 30 minutes after we got there (i honestly dont recommend this method. lsd is said to be effective because it deprives the brain of glucose. so its almost like being starved, thats why hallucinations persist. according to aldous huxley. but there is still alot of reseach to do in this field. so when i swallowed the gum thats sugar obviously. idk if this is the exact reason but i can tell you that it did seem like the dose was smaller. and i have had those tabs before.)
-started coming up in line (we were actually frying for about an hour and a half by the time the movie started) and later and extremely weird experience with colors swirling everywhere. its almost as if the movie theatre was made for trippers. with mirrors and colors and neon lights haa. i love this part. but alot of people found it scary
-got inside movie theatre and completely forgot i was going to see this movie for i was already content.
-in the imax 3d theatre. and there are 2 blue spotlights on the screen which were stationary. but not for me. more me they were morphing and talking and they almost seemed like they were talking objects
-movie starts, almost start crying of happiness
- a lot of people do not notice that in the new movie the real people actually represent the characters from the cartoon. so im flipping out when i see alice's dad as the doornob and hammish's mother as the queen. and everyone is staring at me like im crazy. hahahha
-the visuals in this movie seriously made your eyes have orgasms. seeing it in 3d right in front of you with great surround sound made everyone frying in the theatre be dumbfounded the entire time.
-really fucking weird ass movie. it seriously was made for people on psychedelics
my opinion: i loved it, it didnt have a GREAT story line. and many people were upset with it. but honestly its tim burton, what did you expect? ahah
it WAS AMAZING and theres no way any movie can top that visual stuff.
plus the movie was seriously weird with multiple drug references that made everyone question what they just saw ahha
at the end an amanita muscaria mushroom was growing during the credits hah
i strongly suggest watching thisss
