my night at the fireworks
i'm not very experienced with acid, although, i do love lsd. i only started using acid a few months ago, and have only tripped 4 or 5 times.
Last wednesday, my cousin handed me half of a piece of pez in the car at about 8pm (the whole pez had 2 liquid drops on it...my half was thoroughly saturated, i think i had most of it). i ate my pez and arrived at the carnival.
We met up with my friend Tweak and ventured inside to walk around. At T+1hr I was beginning to melt hardcore, and Tweak handed me a pill (bow and arrow? never heard of it...). I swallowed my pill and began to drift into a spacey-state from the lsd.
I saw a lot of people I knew at the carnival since it was in my town. It was weird to see kids I know from school there, along with my parents friends--I felt like everyone knew I was flipping. We all (7 of us) got online for the ferris-wheel and waited for our turns...Tweak ran off and got some cherry italian ice, and it was great. The ice was perfectly sweet and cold and red. The ice was just amazing.
When it was our turn, my cousin, timmy, and I got into the car...Up and Down, Around, Fast...I am not really sure how to explain it, you've all been on a ferris wheel I'm sure... All the lights from the rides were so pretty, and the E was just starting to kick in because it was about T:+1hr45min. The sensations from going up and down and around were just amazing...I felt like i was flying through the air on a magic carpet or something...
We continued to walk around, people said hello to me and I wasn't sure how to respond...I tried not to talk to anyone who didn't come with us because I was so "out-there" I didn't want anyone to know I was on anything...
We were standing back by the ferris wheel again when the first firework went up...All 7 of us just dropped to the ground where we were and watched. They were the most amazing fireworks I have ever seeen. Every color and sound was magnified...You actually FELT the fireworks run through you. You felt the colors, and you saw the sounds--We all sat on the ground in an e-puddle staring up at the sky for the 10 minutes the display lasted. We had looks of amazed 5-year olds on our faces...anyone who observed us watching must have known we were on some serious shit because we were just absolutely mezmorized by the fireworks.
After they were over, we all just smiled and huged eachother...we were so happy to all be together for this "event". The boys went on the "gravitron" and we waited for them. I could barely handle the ferris wheel--the gravitron would have killed me...although, I did sit on the ground next to it and watched it for a few rides...hehe...It was the coolest thing lol, i couldn't stop staring....oh yea, I liked the "orient" too...it was some maze thingy for really small children decorated in thousands of flashing red/white/yellow/green lights.
After all of this, we were all extremely paranoid about the overwhelming authority presence (it was a fireman's/policeman's carnival, haha) that we had to leave. The 7 of us went to Timmy's house where we smoked a blunt, everyone did more E (I am not sure how much was consumed or of what kind...I know that everyone gave me at least one line to sniff, and thats all I know--I have no idea what time this was either). After we were done, we just turned out all the house lights, threw on some trippy lights, turned up the music and danced for at least three or four hours.
At about 4 am, I arrived at my cousin's house and fell asleep...I was completely down at this point, although, not tired--extremely bored and forced a few hours sleep.
All in all...i've never really enjoyed fireworks before that day, and I know that I will never be able to watch them the same way again. I had an amazing, memorable experience and am very happy to have had it--and for free...i didn't pay for anything that day, my friends are just very generous!
For anyone that likes acid and or fireworks I reccomend trying this...you'll never forget it...
