Damn I didn't expect to ever see Michael Yost's name again, I bought a book ~2022 that he published named "Lysergamide Synthesis Demystified" because he was posting some unhinged manic shit about how the DEA was trying to accuse him of synthesizing LSD, which he claimed to have never done, and then directly contradicted in later posts. The book is full of maniacal bangers like "I have heard ether can be gotten from sodium ethoxide and ethyl bromide or iodide, but who knows, right?", just from a random page I've opened. The book is printed in probably size 20 or larger text too, I assume to reach a certain minimum page limit? Not sure, but if anybody reading this thread in the future wants a solid book on lysergamide chemistry, Ergot Alkaloids was finally translated into English and is available from Synergistic Press right now, it was written by Hoffman originally in German.
Now if only an English copy of Phenethylamines by Trachsel could come around!
