LSD For the first time.

I'm getting a hit of lsd for the first time today and I was wondering if I should take the hit without a sitter I have taken shrooms twice without a sitter and its was about 2g to 2.5 each time and I was fine.
 
Mushrooms are often much more emotional than LSD is, and if you've handled a few solo trips on those then I would say you'll be fine. Keep someone in mind that you'd be able to call if you feel you need to at some point during the trip, but other than that just enjoy yourself.

You will be fine without a sitter it is always recommended for a first time user, but one hit will be enjoyable and you shouldn't be completely out of your element. If you were taking 3-5 a sitter would be more appropriate

My sentiments exactly, for me, Mushrooms always had an extra layer of warmth about them compared to LSD, it's difficult to explain exactly, but I always felt more of what I can only describe as a more empaththetic experience on Mushrooms, almost like an LS/MDMA type feeling.

I always find it's best when there are a group of you all together who are tripping, so as you can experience the journey together, although I also recommend at least one sober person in case things go wrong.

One of my friends always used to have a seizure on Mushrooms, which was very hard to deal with without the help of a straight head.
 
I would take a half hit if it was my first time, and I would make sure I was in a good state of mind before trippin. The worst thing you can do to yourself is take too much LSD the first time. Considering I have tripped on acid about a 1000 times, there has been many times when I got acid that was so strong one hit was too much. You can always take more, but once that shit is in your brain, you cant get it out for 12 hours or so.
