Acid -- First Time -- The Cat and The Strobe
Experience: I'm an experienced user of pot, I've tried codeine and have also enjoyed many nights with nitrous (nangs etc).
Drug: LSD or Acid
Administration: Oral
Mindset: I'm a bit nervous as this is my first chemical. Still I'm also excited at the fact that I've been told that this was very high quality stuff. I was ready for an awesome time!
Setting: My house, along with some friends, namely nickthecheese of bluelight, my friends "e" and "b" and my brother "r" and his friend "i".
Timeline: T + 0 Drop time. Me, nickthecheese and "e" take one blotter of LSD and purt it under our tonges. Tastses like paper and feels like carboard but we all endeavour to keep it there for at least half an hour. "b" decided that he didn't want to take his blotter, so he sort of became the trip sitter.
T + 30 We go into my little half room half garage to smoke some weed. My brother and his friend were assemblying a gravity bong whilst I rolled around on the beds (I was waiting for somehting to happen) I return to my room and sit next to nickthecheese who is doing somtehing on my computer and just start to notice something different. I say to nickthecheese "no way, only 30mins into it and I'm already feeling something" nickthecheese simply told me it was the first alert, something was different I couldn't tell what it was, but it was something.
T + 45 My friend "e" is complaining that he isn't feeling anything, whereas by this time I am starting to feel like I've smoked a small amount of weed (although I haven't) I lay down on a bed, when nickthecheese had the brilliant idea that "e" should take a nang (nitrous whippits etc) to help speed up the process. "e" agrees and takes the nitrous and almost 10 minutes later he feels as if the nitrous is still affecting him. Nickthecheese and I both agree its starting to kick in.
T + 1h 15mins We are still in the garage place and my brother and his friend are off their nuts off about 2 cones of some of this high potency stuff that we had. I, meanwhile, was looking at my corrugated roof. First thing I noticed is that the shadows keep on shifting from left to right, the first time this happened I freaked out and jumped up. Nickthecheese couldn't help but laugh at what I did, but after describing what had happned I returned to looking at the moving shadows. Soon after the first incident colours began running up and down the roof, changing as they went along. They shifted from blue to red to green and all sorts of other colours.
T + 1h 25mins I have a nang and right after I hit the 4th plateau. The nang stays for ages, all sounds meld and warp around me, music is incidible and the lights on my computer are an attraction as their glow seems to be magnified almost 10 times.
T + 1h 30mins "e" peaks and so does nickthecheese. By now we have switched off the lights and have implemented the storbe light that I have at my house. Everything is in flash frames, everything appears to move slightly with every flash. I feel as if I have to type on my computer, but when I get there it seems as if my hands have detached from my body and are typing my thoughts for me. Everything outside the computer screen's glow is an intense field of hallucinations, every 30secs I have to look around to see if anyone was beside mr (I couldn't tell if there was or not). The bluelights on my computer where my only portal to reality, it was the only place where reality wasn't distorted by visuals. Me and nickthecheese meet in the light and nickthecheese tries to write down things that he is thinking. I start to hallucinate that he was a commander of a mission to return to earth, and he was writing battle plans. At this point in time "e" had this quote:
"Liquid Sound" the sound was a solid but he couldn't get his fingers behind it beofer it escaped to the shadows. After this he then picked up the strobe. He became the "master" of the strobe, he held it up and looked at it while it was going. I had an urge to touch it and when I did, "e" said my hards turned to chrome and then melted into the strobe.
T + 2h 15min I have taken a fair few nitrous whippits and the nanging has stayed and is very intense. I still see people everywhere and my only portal to reality is the computer screen, where we are writing random stuff down. To me this "tainted" my reality, and for punishment I could only type on my computer and do nothing else to it. This was really frustrating as "e" and nickthecheese kept tinkering withh it.
T + 3h My cat came into the room, and became the new super power of our world. He was the ultimate rival of the strobe. Me, nickthecheese and brothers friend layed down on my double bed and storked it. Nickthecheese was listening to Aphex Twin on his discman stating that it was a new way of life. I took the headphones off him and took a nang with them on. Now that warped my reality so badly that I believed that there were thousands of alternate realities that I could go to, but I choose to come back to this one.
T + 5h Much of the above sort of thing happened but then we decided to go outside. Now that was interesting. Nickthecheese told us to take nangs outside and that it would be an awesome experience. He wasn't wrong. After my and "e" took one outside we began to look at the moon and I thought that I may be able to get to it if I jumped, but I couldn't cause the moon kept jumping with me! "e" tried aswell but the same thing happened to him
T + 6-8h Feel the effects lessening,but still where intense. The cat and the strobe met (OMG this was a huge shock to our reality) and they merged into the "chromed cat". To us the cat represented nature and the storbe represent technology. These two melded together to form some kind of super being. The last of the nitrous had been consumed and we all thought that it was probably time for us to go to sleep. This turned out to be an adverture in itself. Everytime I thought I was going to get to sleep sounds began crawling into my ears from every corner of the room. "e" reported a similar experience but every sound would come from a different position than where it was actually coming from. He thought that I was sleeping in my sink and not in my bed (which was almost right beside him!)
Conclusion: This was really intense and it really lasted a long time. Much longer than any other drug that I've taken before. Although at some points I got the idea that maybe the trip would never end, I managed to put this out of my mind and enjoy it. A tip to all the bluelighters that haven't tried this durg, do not plan ANYTHING for the next day. You will be dead tired and also you will differnt from normal making it hard to do things you would normally. Although a must for any party/drug taking event has to be a strobe. Most of our visuals were created by us only being able to see small pieces of reality, so our brains made up a lot. It also gives a cool looking chrome effect to things, including your own body!
