LSD - First Time - Good, but not as trippy as expected?

I had been eagerly awaiting my first time trying acid...me and sum friends pickd up sum dexters on fri and took em friday night. Id read the erowid vaults and more than 10 trip reports 2 try n help me out 2 kno what 2 expect. People had said they were of high quality and first timers should take halves etc. Me and my 4 friends went against this advice, Ended up takin it in a whole
I was xcited coz id read good things...however i barely got any trippy effects at all...at first felt like i was coming up on a pill...then we sat in the bathroom in the dark listenin 2 the doors n i dropped a green mitzi 3 hours into it...felt like i was fucked on a REALLy good pill...then sorta wore off...slight visuals in the clouds (looked like they were breathing sorta) but thats all the trippy effects. Dropped a 2nd mitzi about 7-8 hours into it and had about 4 jays throughout the duration. Anyone help me out wid why they werent as strong or effective for me or my mates than from what ppl have said about them? i.e. maybe they were old, had been stored wrong etc? The situation was perfect, good friends, great location, great music...what coulda effected our highs? Thanx

Those dexters are incredibly powerful . . 2 was far too many for me and I thought i would be able to handle them.

Sometimes a pill/mdma can kill the LSD magic. Try it alone next time.

And man, this is really more of a psychedelic drug/drug basic question; not a trip report.

Maybe you could write a more detailed account of what went on in your mind that night, that could be interesting.

I suggest the same.

You have to create a good combination to get the synergy to work right. IMO the ratio is 2:1. 2 hits LSD and 1 hit MDMA. It all depends on how potent each is though.

The MDMA makes it less "trippy" and more... um... dunno, I'm not a huge fan of candyflips actually. And if you are candyflipping with pills cut with amphetamine, you're asking for psychological scars.
