LSD First Time - Comparison?

Hello Bluelight!

I have lurked around these forums for a long time and have found loads of useful info, nice one! On this occasion I haven't been able to find an answer for question.

I have a few experiences under my belt with 2C E, 2C I, 2C B, 4 HO MET, AMT, DOC and Mushrooms but I have never had a chance to do LSD, until now. I have anticipated trying it for a long time and have kind of put it on pedestal and perhaps built it up too much. The reason I have tried psychedelic rc's is because I had been unable to obtain LSD.

My usual set and setting is at home at night while my family are sleeping, although my psychedelic enhancement isn't a secret!

I intend to have my first LSD experience this weekend under the same setting and I am unsure if the experience will be under or overwhelming based on the other experiences with psychedelics I have had?

Does anybody who has more experience care to assist in breaking that last wall of anxiety down for me by giving me a comparison?

Perhaps i'm thinking about it too much....

You'll do just fine. LSD is a very powerful drug, but it's also very easy to get into and simply exist. You have quite a lot of experience under your belt, and so long as you dose without being an idiot, you should be alright. of course, YMMV.

LSD in my opinion was very translucent; it definitely has its own color and flavor (And sometimes you get to taste the color ) but it is often in the backround, because you're to busy existing as intensely as possible, immersed in the world and being alive. The visuals are very flowing and pleasant, but they often take a back-seat to the introspection.

I think that you will be fine. Just to be safe, dose sensibly for your first time. Before I had a chance to try LSD I also had racked up experience with many psychedelic RCs. I actually enjoyed low dose (museum dose) LSD trips during the day, walking around in my neighborhood, walking to a little park with paths in the woods a few blocks down from me. LSD just seemed so easy and natural to me when I was still doing that kind of stuff. For me, LSD hands down was better than every other psychedelic that I had tried.

I know to respect the milligram scales after I had an unbearably intense experience with an eyeballed dose of 2C E!

I am sure I will be OK I just needed to be sure as I have anticipated doing it for such a long time and I am expecting the enlightenment of all enlightenments!

mg scales? are you getting liquid?

i was like you -- lsd was the last psychedelic there was for me to try, and it had been the one i was most eager to try. it was amazing, but i was with someone on an island off the outer banks of nc. if you've tripped around your home before, i don't see why acid would be any different. so if you've felt fine there, go for it, though you should really try to experience nature if you can.

No i've got some smurf blotters, they are supposed to be pretty good. I commented on the scales as both Liquid Sunshine and das feuer highlighted the importance of dosage, thanks I appreciate it.

Yeah I can't wait, probably gonna have to get naked to experience some nature hahaha! It's rough concrete jungle where I am so not much nature to experience in that sense LOL!

Ouch!!!! I hope you aren't planning on doing milligram size doses your first time? When it comes to psychedelics LSD is the only way to fly IMO. I wish it was prominent where I live. I have mixed feelings when it comes to first time doses though. For me higher doses always seem to go a lot more smoothly and wish I had done 500mics or better on my first trip. Seems like lower doses you try to hold on too tight to reality without being able to just let go and trust everything will be OK. I know a lot of people on here will disagree with me but I'm just stating my opinion. Do your research and make an informed decision on your own. That first trip is a ground.breaking experience and a threshold trip trip just wasn't what I wish I had for that occasion. Read up and make your own decision. Have fun wish I could be there to experience it with you!

Nah I won't be having a dose in the milligram range! That would probably write me off for a ever!

I've got some tiny little blotters that are from a picture of some Smurfs, I have no idea of the dose of each.

Thought i'd write back to let you guys know I survived my first LSD trip!

To be honest I would consider the experience to pretty mild compared to experiences I have had with other RC's. I attribute this to it probably being a weak or degraded dose on the blotter.

I ate one tab on an empty stomach at 8.30pm. Within the hour I noticed I was clenching my jaw a little and I also began feeling an intense sense of relaxation. I was laying in bed smoking bud for the majority of the time. It wasn't until two hours after having my dose did I notice any visuals but these where very subtle. I didn't experience any of the head fuck that is supposedly unique with LSD.

The experience didn't develop any more than this and I must have been asleep by 3am.

I did enjoy the experience and appreciate that to have a too low dose first time is better than a too high dose!

I have some of the same blotters left and I am going to try two next time.

Sounds like weak or bunk acid.

I only did it one time but I took one tab and I was straight frying "like grabbing my head going omg this feelin is so... Intense... It is just consuming me" I peaked for like 6 hours and was high for another 8. Shit was crazy.

Did u take one or two tabs?

Took it at 8:30 and was asleep by 3?

That has to be some weak acid or something man. I have never been able to get to sleep by 3am after eating acid that day, and certainly not if I ate it at 8:30. I can't even get to bed after an acid trip without a 6 pack of beers, and that's when I have been day tripping.

If I trip at night anytime I usually need the help of a few beers and a benzo to shut my mind off. Otherwise I toss and turn alllll night long until the birds come out and annoy me around 6am.

Yeah I thought it must have been pretty weak, I took only one blotter. It definitely wasn't DOx of any kind as i've had them before and my experiences with them have far out shadowed the one in question and I wouldn't have fallen asleep!

I had been smoking blueberry cheese bud all day long and throughout the experience and I smoke weed every time I use psychedelics so I am surprised that I did as I have never before on anything else. I also spend lots of time whilst tripping laying in bed and watching movies or on my laptop.

I've got four left and intend to take two next time, maybe more?
