Ok this is the first trip report ive written, so bear with me lol ill try my hardest. this is a recount of my first time tripping on LSD, around august 2006
I had wanted 2 try lsd for soo long, and after many failed attempts to obtain tabs, i finally was able to get one each for me and my friend. I got it on the thursday, and although tempted 2 take it straight away, we waited until saturday afternoon to take it. we met up at about 5 o clock and took it on the train on the way into the city (Sydney). I took mine at around 5.30, my friend 15 minutes later. Although I had done A LOT of research on the drug, naturally me n my friend did not know exactly was 2 expect.
By the time the train arrived in the city (around 6), 'something' was starting 2 happen. I was starting 2 come exciteable, had lots of energy and was in a good mood. Me n my friend (C), sat on some seats next 2 town hall and waited. The first thing i really noticed was that as i was lookn at the wall of a church, the light pole next 2 it seemed 2 b breathing-it was slowly moving back and forth. Alright! I was tripping.. and would b for the rest of the night :D
After sitting around for a while, we went 2 a woolworth across the street to buy cigarettes. After buying them, we continued 2 walk around the city-we eventually made our way 2 hyde park. On the way, I had the intense desire 2 b in control of all the traffic lights-I would b the one who pressed the button, and would continue 2 press it until we could cross lol. Anyway we fnally made our way to the park and I lay on my back and watched the clouds. It was just starting 2 get dark, yet I could see the sky clearly. The clouds had pink, blue and yellow swirls over them, adn the would move, form into a shape ,jumble up and then make another shape (such as a human head)-that was pretty cool lol.
After sitting ther for a while we made our way up 2 the museum. We walked over an oval 2 get there, and all the tufts of grass seemed 2 b spinning around and I felt as if i was on some massive marijuana leaf and the spinning tufts were buds of the plant. It was pretty cool lol anyway upon getting 2 the meseum C showed me something that really tripped me out. There was this large, cylinndrical statue type thing that seemed 2 have lumps in it. Although i didnt visually see anything, in my head i felt as if those lumps were human bodies and they were groaning in pain. I wanted 2 get away lol and so we did. We walked 2 near where homebake is held (dunno the name) and sat underneath the trees. There were bats everywhere, and C and I drew pictures of bats on each other and questioned why there were so many bats lol (nature, duhhh
). after this we walked doen 2 circular quay, and on the way C and I just talked and talked. Upon getting 2 circular quay, we sat nxt 2 the water and I stared up at the sky. There was a bat flying around, and a purple tracer was following it around, it was very cool.
After looking at that for a while we walked down 2 darling harbour. On the way there, I had 2 cross the road. I looked before crossing, and the cars were ages away, however as I crossed the road shrunk and the cars were suddenly very close, so I ran as fast as i could 2 get across and wen I looked back after crossing, the cars were ages away :S... yeah i was tripping balls lol.
at darling harbour I bought a flashing light glowstick whilst C went 2 the bathroom and that kept me very entertained. We took a seat and whilst C talked on the phone, I played with my glowstick and listened 2 his ipod (where i fell in lvoe with the song by Weezer, 'We are all on drugs'). As i was listening 2 the music and looking at the glowstick, it felt as if things were very hectic and shadows kept going past me. However after stopping lsiternin 2 the music, it seemed as if things got a little calmer.. That was one of the thigns that struck me abotu acid-it seemed 2 come in waves as in one second i would b tripping nuts, then i would kind of sober up a bit then i would b tripping even harder then b4 b4 i even realised lol.
anyawy so we walked down 2 the car show (the reason i told my mum for going 2 the city lol so i felt bad if i didnt at least go 4 a little bit). walkin up the starts i felt very exposed and akward, and upon getting 2 the top the securty informed me that it was closing doown in 15 mins lol so i left. on the way out i asked a girl for the time, and she immediately knew i was tripping balls and i spoke 2 her for a little bit lol..the whole night i had this urge 2 b social even tho i probli shudnt of been :S o well.
after this we headed back 2 the train station 2 catch the train back home, and this is where the trip went slightly downhill. at the station i really had 2 piss, so i went into the bathrooms. ahhh this was a mistake :s the toilets were filtyhy, and every1 was being so loud and moaning and shit (sooo many drunk ppl) and i felt as if i was in a mental asylum. it was horrible and the train was not much better. in the train i felt trapped, and altho i am not normally claustrophobic, i got veyr much so. my friend was calm and calmed me down a bit, and eventually i was content listening 2 huis ipod and wriitng down my thoughts on a notepad he brought.
dad picked me up from the station at the other side (about 5 or 6 hours after takin it) and i was able 2 act sober. the visuals had stopped by then altho my head was racing and going nuts. I got home n went 2 bed, where it took me FOREVER 2 sleep aggh was horrible lol
overall it was a great trip, and hav tried 2 get some again but hav failed
the visuals from the trip really surprised me-it was not as if colorus were everywhere etc., but just normal things would b distorted and changed.. i dunno it was cool but nopt wot i expetced.
