LSD - First ever trip - Indescribable beauty

My previous drug experience includes: booze, cigarettes, weed, ecstasy, salvia, one low dosage mushroom experience, meth, heroin, oxycodone, diazepam and other various benzos…pretty much most things except acid.

So I'm writing this trip report after about an hours sleep and fucked up on temazepam, weed and alcohol, but I'll do my best.

I was meant to be taking acid with a friend of mine…it would have been both of our first trips and I was really excited. In the end he decided not to do any because of some emotional troubles he was having, but since I didn't think I'd have the opportunity to experience my first acid trip again for at least a couple of months, I decided to go ahead and drop anyway.

I was with a friend for most of the night but he was nodding out on a combination of oxy and benzos and so was on a totally different level, so really I was alone in the trip.

Acid completely surpassed any expectations I had…it was absolutely amazing. I have never felt so alive. Never seen the world look so amazingly vibrant and lush and full of constantly moving life, it was indescribably beautiful. I was hesitant at first to have my first acid trip on my own but in the end it turned out to be an incredibly positive experience and one which I couldn't have hope for more from.

I went for an adventure in the back garden lighting my way with a candle…just exploring the weeds and getting lost…staring at how rich everything looked…holding the candle up against leaves dripping with dew and watching the water evaporate off leaves without burning the leaf and seeing all the vibrant life inside the veins of the leaves. I spent ages leaning against poles and examining the patterns flowing around knots in the wood and marveling at how beautiful everything was. I kept one of the leaves as a souvenir…I held that leaf for probably about two minutes just stroking it across my fingers and marveling at how amazing it felt.

Then I went inside and played with a candle…I heated up an empty nitrous bulb and slowly and painstakingly molded the outside of the candle rim as it burned, just staring at all the constantly moving and glowing tendrils of life and movement that dripped off every bit of melting and moving wax. Everything looked so beautiful…I was just drinking in how incredible the sight of wax dripping into a candle is.

Oh, and the meal! Eating on acid was amazing....my friend had cooked a mild vegetable curry earlier on and I made fixing myself a meal into a mission...exploring the strange cavern that was the kitchen, watching everything morph and move and drip with life and beauty as I somehow managed to get some food into the bowl. Then eating was an experience in itself...every aspect of taste and smell and texture was amplified so much, it was the best meal of my life.

After that I just played with my fingers…pushing them against each other and watching the amazing patterns the fingerprint lines on my fingers were making…exploring the minute details of the bit where my two fingers intersected and staring into the angles that they created…watching the tiny, amazing patterns flow and grow out of everything. It seems weird to be describing drinking in the beauty of existence by playing with the way your two index fingers can push against each other and intersect, but that's what I did…for hours, until my fingers hurt.

As it started to wear off I just lay back on a couch and stared at the slowly burning down candle…feeling as though I was slowly molding the dripping of the wax with my mind and admiring the swirling, pulsating patterns that were inside it.

As to the comedown…it was weird, much different from an amphetamine comedown….I just felt uncomfortable in my body and sort of agitated and weird for a while…I rode the worst of that out without any chemical help because I wanted to experience what it was really like, then I took 50mg of temzepam and a few drinks, had a half hour nap, and now I'm writing this.

Acid was unbelievable. I could never have imagined what it would be like before doing it. I was imagining a fun little headfuck with a bit of reality warping…but nothing could possibly describe properly what the experience of tripping on acid is like to someone who has never done it. Just an unimaginable adventure into the mysteries of a completely different universe…acid is a world that just seems to have an absolutely infinite number of aspects and dimensions and qualities to explore, I can't wait to try it again…maybe with a couple of other people tripping in a group next time. I feel like I've become a part of a special brotherhood of people who have seen the world in this way and I feel privileged to have seen such amazing beauty. I have never felt so alive before on any other drug under any circumstances.

My first time on acid was the best drug experience of my life, hands down, and I'll remember this night forever I think. I hope it was fun to read about anyway.

Edit: Added the bit about the meal.

Indeed it is! This is a wonderful report on a first acid trip. I'm glad you had the opportunity, and that you had a good time!

For gods sake, don't miss out on the wonder that is eating ice cream whilst tripping balls on LSD ;)

excellent to hear another happy lsd customer..

It becomes amazling intense when you start involving people and situations/missions and of course.. more acid..

Awesome report, made me smile and remember some of my great trips.

Playing with candles is awesome on acid...especially towards the end of the trip.....so peacefull.

I've seen universes in a biscuit, Disected time through a streetlight and seen infinity in a blade of grass.......... fingers seem like a quite logical way to experience existance! hehe

And yes tripping with a group of likeminded friends is a whole other experience, amazing!

As is higher dose acid for the brave...

I think I lmost said those same words to myself when I joined "the club"
Welcome to the real world...

Good report man.

Takes me back to my first lsd trip. And I agree with the candles, watching the flame etc. while on acid is so much fun

good report, im still looking forward to my experience with this substance but i look forward to trying it.

peace

That is a beautifully written report!!
how I envy you for that experience!!
Im would give an arm and a leg for some acid, its something Im dying to try.

Although i'm still indecisive about whether I wish to view the world from such a skewed [yet beautiful] perspective, your report has given more reason to consider doing so.
It sounds as though acid is something everyone must try, be it only once.
=D
PEACE

Great report! I'll have to agree on the ice cream comment, except I had a fairly low dose on my second trip which didn't result in the headfuck I was hoping for. Anyway, it was at a rave and it was really fucking hot in the arena I was in. Some guys come in handing out ice blocks to everyone. Tasted better than usual, would have been even better if I had that second microdot.

On the first trip cigarettes tasted cold for some reason. The coke and powerade I drank on the way home tasted like liquid gold! No ice cream though.

I want another ego death trip. :(

Welcome to the brotherhood.
I always believed that my first acid trip opened up doors in my head that I didn't even know were there.

Nice one!

Great report - sounds very much like my first experience with LSD =D

I really enjoyed just looking at everything, the clarity of vision was so intense and amazing. Unfortunately the 2 trips I've had since have not reached that level - but something to look forward to again.
