LSD, experienced, True friends
I had a bad trip(at first) on 4 hits of real high quality blotter. I ate them assuming(ass out of you and me) that they wouldn't be that strong. I was with my girlfriend and best friend.
me... I take no meds/ felt content with life at the time.
Set: West Virginia. It was a place called Hawks Nest Dam. It was a pretty secluded place where there was VERY dangerous rushing water. There was a rock outcropping that was adjacent to the river. You could get within maybe 20 yards of a huge torrent of water being shot at you from the dam. The rocks had strange orange colors on them and some parts had been dynamited. An incredible place to trip....
We parked the car and began our 45min hike out to the damn. I dropped 4 hits of acid and my friend dropped 4 as well. My girlfriend dropped 3. I dropped mine maybe 20 mins after them. As we where moving I noticed that my speech sounded slurred and they rocks seemed to be moving. I thought that I had peaked and was content. We then got to the dam and sat down in our crazy creeks. Things started getting REAL fucked up at this point. Everything was melting and flowing all over the place. The trees no longer took on a recognizable shape. The dam was no longer recognizeable. My arms and legs began stretch out and expand. They looked so frail and thin. The loud torrent of water grew HUGE and began to melt into the sky. It was like the world was plastic and someone had put a tremendos heat lamp on everything. The rocks had CRAZy letters all over them. The seemed to be in the shape of triangles mostly A's and Z's but everytime I looked closer I could not figure out what letters they were. I was baffled. At this point I vomited on myself because of the extreme disconnection with reality. I then rolled around on the rocks thinking to my self "I've done it now....oh god...I've done it now."
Abrubtly everything turned familiar and I noticed that Phish was playing in my head. I thought I was really spun at this point. It turned out my friend had noticed my pain and put Farmhouse in a discman and placed earphones on for me. The lyrics "welcome this is a farmhouse....." BLEW my mind. After the end of the song I announced that I felt "that there was adventure in the air." I then proceeded to throw rocks at other rocks and break sticks. The rest of the experience went pretty smoothly. We discussed society alot and the letters that we saw everywhere. I would say that the acid letters have been my most profound visual. No one else seems to talk about them that much.
Toward the end of the day I drank half a bottle of wine and drunkenly went to sleep. My girlfriend(whom I completely trust) and my best friend(whom I completely trust got mostly naked and painted on the walls for hours.
All in all I learned alot about the importance of real friends and their impact on my life.
Thanks for listening.
