I'm very experienced with psychadelics, I've tripped acid over 20 times, but never have I had a 'bad' trip.

I have no recollection of time, so I'll just give you the sequence of events that took place. My memory of the events is a little hazy as well.

I dosed two hits on the tongue and sat down with a few of my friends listening to some music and smoking some bud. The comeup caught me by surpise.

I sat back, enveloped in the electric feel. The music became surround sound...it seemed like it was coming out of the walls. The visuals slowly built and built until I was seeing colors and fractalling to a point where another person's face was indistinguishable.

The visuals intensified and intensified over the course of another 2 hours. I couldn't do much but sit in my chair. The growing intensity started to put worries into the back of my head. I had never had acid this potent and it was sending me through thought loops of death, schitzophrenia, conspiracy, and worry.

The growing intensity became too much at a point, and the inner dialogue was taking it's toll as well. I was hearing voices coming from every direction...I would see one person talking but hear them from behind me. I would hear whispers and voices of people who were not there.

At one point, I was sitting in one chair, watching myself sitting in another chair that I had just gotten out of. It was a weird out of body experience feeling. It continued, as if I were getting tracers of myself wandering through the appartment. It was overwhelming scary. I needed a cigarette.

Immediately upon leaving the appartment, I felt a beautiful rush of nature pouring through me. The sky, the trees, the grass were doing things I could have only imagined. The cigarette was a little difficult to light and I almost dropped the cigarette on my lap several times. A cat jumped into my lap...it was very soft, affectionate (as if it knew I needed comforting), and colorful.

When I went back inside, the visuals were as intense and ever, and with the music up, and the amount of people in there, I began to get lost in my own thought loops again. I decided to lay down in a friend's bed to regain sanity. I had been walking around so confused and deleriously, that I was kind of scaring the other people.

The intensity soon subsided and I was able to regain composeur, but I was still a little shaken by the experience. I sat quietly in the back of the room for the next few hours.

I got a couple of hours of sleep since my trip, but am still feeling a little cracked out.

My lesson - Never underestimate acid. I've eaten as many as 7 hits at once and it didn't compare to the intensity of this trip. Never trip in a situation that you're uncomfortable with. Never trip with people you don't trust 100%. Don't get lost in the loops. This would be an experience that I would like to repeat on different circumstances..

great report man.. i don't think the intesity of an LSD trip has as much to do with amount taken (maybe with at leat a minimal dosage), as it does with your mindstate and they way you control it..

your talk of not being able to distinguish things anymore because the fractal patterns and colors took up everything.. i remember that so well.. and hearing you explain the voices.. sent chills down my spine..

my first hard LSD trip was a complete ego-death experience.. i didn't know what was happening and the sensations were so weird.. the voices came from everything, and i couldn't tell what they were all saying.. just bits and pieces of words and morphenes and phenomes.. words lost all meaning.. and you not only hear it, but feel it, sense it.. so amazing.

i loved reading your report, it brought back some great memories.. i wouldn't write that off as a bad trip.. try to learn something from every experience.. and if you liked where that was starting to go.. the outer-body part.. i dunno how far it went for you, but from what you described it sounds to me like you had your foot in the door.. that makes me smile, alot.
