LSD - Experienced - 1st REAL time - It's a whole new day

Thanks for the kind words. :)

hydrobromide, the length of the experience was approximately 8 hours in total. Perhaps another 2 extra hours of residual stimulation and feeling just weirded out... and that was almost the only letdown, if there was one. Before sampling LSD I was almost intimidated by the length, but now that I have, I am dissapointed it didn't last the full 12 hours I expected it to. There is a possibility the blotters I used may have suffered a potency loss of some degree while they were in transit through the postal system, but now I know you have to be really careful when dealing with this stuff.

^^ No, 8 hours sounds about right to me for the actual tripping part of an acid trip. The 12 hours everyone talks about is more like the time before you can even consider sleeping.

I'm so glad you finally tried LSD! And I think you should write trip reports more often, this one was really good. I tripped on acid at O'Hare once too, and it was great. Actually I tripped all the way from SFO, including the most visually spectacular takeoff and aerial view of SF Bay at sunset ever witnessed by man, woman or child, and then on the plane ride (a nearly empty plane, a window seat, what luxury) and right through O'Hare. Good times.

of all the psychedelics i've tried LSD still ranks #1 in my books.
What a wonderful substance

oh, and u should definitely write more reports.
This was very well written.=D

Thanks for the report, it reminds me of my own acid experience. It was 4 years ago, a single hit, and I never met anyone with acid again. I actually dont know a single person who has done acid in the last 4 years. Sad :/ I'm glad you had such an awesome time and it led to some realizations for you.

wow. that reminded me of my first trip so much…not so much the setting but the things that were going on inside your head and your view of the outside world.
i recommend all first trippers to go out have a bit of an adventure if they can…being outside doing things is much better than sitting in a room in my opinion.
