lsd dosage question

hey guys,

long time reader, first time poster.

i've had lsd twice before. both times were 1 tab and i've thoroughly enjoyed it. whenever i'm on it i've had a great feeling of euphoria and time distortion, as well as hi def vision etc. i've never really experienced the psychedelic visuals though. the closest i've had is starting deeply into street lights and seeing odd equations forming solving into themselves while expanding (kind of hard to explain :f)

i'm going camping in a few weeks and i'd like to know if increasing the dosage (2 tabs) would get me seeing the psychedelic side of things, or if your mind already pre-determines what you see.

If you think you can handle 2 tabs, go for it. The visuals will certainly be better.
 
Firstly, I wouldn't call myself an experienced LSD user, I've had just over a handful of trips, all within the past year.

That being said, I've had great psychedelic visuals from only 1 tab. I guess some of it depends on how strong the tabs are, but my biggest recommendation is to go into the trip with an open mind. Have no major expectations about what is going to happen. And make sure you're in a great frame of mind at the point when you take the LSD.

Setting also has a lot to do with it, and if you're out camping in the stimulation of nature, you're more than likely bound for a good trip. I tripped at the end of last year at a camping/outdoor music and arts festival, and it was brilliant. Take some time before you trip to get to know your surroundings and make sure you're comfortable where you are, and with the people who surround you. Nature and the outdoors have a great 'spiritual' feeling with acid - I've focused particularly on the sky (clouds, stars at night) and trees, and have had amazing conversations and 'connections' with The Universe while on acid outdoors.

Don't think too much about trying to see psychedelic visuals, just let them happen as they may .... and enjoy!
 
I've taken LSD over 30 times at doses varying from less than half a hit to over 8. One hit has never been very visual for me, also more than one hit has not always been very visual for me. I've had a plus four trip on the Shulgin rating scale that was insanely visual off of two hits. It doesn't happen every time though, the more you take the more likely you will have visuals in my experience though.
 
After a point there experience is just so envoloping that there is no fighting it....

And thats when its the best.... 2 is usually enough to still very much be in normal land.....
 
I took 8 tabs my first time and it was amazing! Since then I've only done heroic doses a few times, but acid was always a beautiful experience! I think you should go for the second tab, sounds like fun :-) Have a great trip <3
 
If you handled the first one fine, then try two, especially if they're from the same batch. Just relax and enjoy, see where it takes you...
