LSD Dosage: General Confusion?

Is it just me, or does it seem that a lot of people are confusing what even 100uq of LSD feels like? 100uq is a decent amount of LSD opens many doors of perception. I myself for a while thought that, 100uq was just a little step, and that 200uq+ is what I needed to step in the psychedelic realm. Having eating mushrooms plenty of times before, I knew what it was, and where I wanted to be.

After about 5 years of eating LSD, I've came to realize that 100uq is not a dose to wag a finger at. All though it seems many people are under this confusion that most blotters or drops of liquid are 100uq. And any one hit that is strong and leads you on a beautiful journey must be 100uq++.

To me it seems, especially the last few years before last, most hits only contained 50-75uq. Really confusing people new to lsd about how strong it truly is. After really finding out what a true 100uq hit felt like, it really put my shit in place. Taking 300uq is purely out of this world.

Now I've been hearing of lots of blotters and liquid going around that are 150uq+ based on peoples experiences.

So what's going on? Are doses in the general public really starting to increase that much in potency? Or are people confusing 90-110uq hits for 150uq+ doses?

I've done 400ug's before, was pretty ridiculously great. Prolly going to dose 400ug-500ug next time.

know one fucking knows how many ug these tabs are unless you live in places with easy/available testing facilities. and the great majority of posters here probably don't.

ya ok but I highly doubt your dealer "knows what he's talking about" when it comes to ug dosage on his blotters. do you get your LSD straight from a chemist that makes it and lays it on blotter so he can tell you the dose? didn't think so..

I've always considered a "standard LSD dose" to be 100mcg, which means taking two tabs of blotter, each is supposed to have 75mcg on it, so that's 150mcg.

Recently I've heard of tabs having a lot more acid being around that was "the same as 5 or 6 times as strong as the old blotter", so maybe it does indeed have 300-400mcg.

I've always been skeptical about exact microgram dosages of LSD, however.

My guy lives in holland where there are tons of testing facilities.

know your limits and know your dealer, it's sort of hard in the case of lsd. some 2 hits make me feel slightly psychedelic buzzed, and sometimes 2 hits is like whoaaa god damn insanity

I used to assume blotters were 90-100 mics optimistically but after some more experimentation with more potent and less potent blotters i'm come to accept that my standard doses are 40-50 micrograms likely. This is the only reason why I end up licking between 4-12 of them for a trip. i used to just think I was dosing massive now I realize that I've been dosing only just mildly above average...long way to go yet!

for me 5$ from the people i've gone through, the same people have gotten both strong and weak, usually weak where i would eat 4 or 5 to be tripping decently. then ive had those times 2 or 3 will make me goin real well, abit more than goin'

Of course the doses get exaggerated as part of marketing, it is pretty normal although you will see it especially where acid is handles as a business instead of among friends. The question is always if the truth is more important or the money... unfortunately not everyone will admit that their acid is really not that special or good.

It is also more exaggerated where it cannot be tested, so I can see how 100 ug is seen as a standard dose but in the US for instance the average is almost certainly lower.

A reason can be that even if everyone would lay blotter with 100 ug product doses that the purity is at most like 95% generally, but it can also be 70% making the dose 70 ug per hit. There can be some degredation during processing etc so getting 60 is not that strange.

In my country it can be tested and as far as I can tell the standards are pretty high. I do not know of circles where shitty acid is peddled though I have had hofmanns of 60 one time. But other than that its actually 90+

On one hand I agree that you shouldn't underestimate a 100 ug dose, its certainly not negligable at all. But I have done hundreds of tested ug and found it more bareable than a good dose of mushrooms.
