lsd dea

I'm guessing its mixed with inactive powder to or isn't LSD at all.

Would you even notice anything in the capsule at 100 micrograms?
 
I highly doubt that is pure (or near pure) lsd, as that would be a fuck ton of lsd. Unless the capsules were used for transportation as opposed to dosing, that is.
 
If that were finely powdered crystalline LSD, I'd guess some 250mg= 1000 to 2500 doses (/capsule).

I'm no x-ray crystallographer, but I'm reasonably sure it wouldn't be bright-fucking-purple/orange.
I would imagine that the colourful stuff is just a 'filler' constituent.
 
it could be inactive filler, it could be some RC misrepresented as LSD, it could be caffiene.
 
Yeah if it actually even contains LSD I'm sure the vast majority of the powder is filler. It's like diluting a chemical in water evenly just with powder, same concept.
 
I'm under the impression that the DEA just staged these photographs. As they contain plastic weighing boats, clear capsules, and colorful pigmented powders: it looks like they just took a picture in a nice litle lab they have.

If these were DEA bust photo's then they would be next to a ruler, or something for comparison.

My conclusion,

blotter paper looks too friendly and innocent to be the vessel for a Schedule 1 drug. So they put colorful powders in big capsules to give it a generic, "bad, street-drug" type label.

I'm sure someone was just testing out their macro lens on whatever random coloured powders the DEA have in their vast fake drug collection. It doesn't make any sense to include these pictures for informing the public anyway as I'm sure it's rare enough LSD is ever smuggled or sold in this form.
 
Pure LSD crystal(99.99%+) has no color. In fact I recall reading(in PIHKAL or TIHKAL I think), that the crystals are known to be luminescent when one puts pressure on them.

This is just silly I read the microgram all the time, as do plenty of people. Trust me the DEA is not posting pics so they can set people up :\
 
ok if thi iss in the mic range i want out im nt gonna lie im scared nd i want y children to be afe, they will what is to be revealed i my incanntation from benneath the ea, my enchanted monster and devoured my ship, now it back again under my command!!

It depends on the substance.

I have held vials of certain human growth factors that are in 25ug glass vials. With purity 95%

I look at them and i don't believe it,

There is a very visible amount of crystalline solid there. Looking at it without any idea prior, i would have eyeballed it around a few milligrams.
 
Its crazy to imagine that you can break that down with a little dh2o and make sheet after sheet of FUN!
