I'm not sure of this was quoted from one of my posts but given it had a spelling mistake it probably was. From experience I've found blotters in the main to be fairy consistent within a batch, and you can always drop a half from the first of new batch to judge potency.I know sometimes blotters on the same sheet can vary but this tends so be to a much lesser extent than the variation in liquid potency IME.

If they are active you can (do have LSD) then you can be fairly sure whoever made them had a reasonable idea what they were doing, I did acid in quantity in the early 90's and haven't done any since at least '96 but doubt these things change. I never had a blotter that had more than 150ug IMO, although clearly that just a guess. I have had micro dots that may have been this or more, certainly the black micros dots going round in the early 90's are the strongest acid I've ever had.

The problem with liquid for me is that yo just cant be sure what dose you getting at all, I guess if you know the person who made the batch from the crystal then fair enough but the dose is so tiny that you could be getting allot more than you bargained for may be as much as 50 times and although I've taken my fair share of the stuff I always treat psychedelics with extreme respect.

I've seen lots of people in trouble on acid as I would imagine you, and many of us have but I've seen much more of it when there was liquid involved.
 
Hey Acidforblood I thought that might be the same pic you mentioned once I heard you talk about the green and yelow insulation tape. Sure would like to see the pic with the bible in the photo too!
 
On rereading the article posted above by a4b I found it informative but too long winded even to cure insomnia.
So never mind the prolix, heres the sententious.

The purity of LSD cooked,
Cannot be determined by looks,
And a bio assay,
Can't really say,
How much twill take to get fucked.

Found it an interesting read and some people in this thread had posted in it, but it makes the thing even more of a mystery as there seem to be some posters in it that were involved in the same or similar scene too.

When Charlie Clean and I shared a flat together in Wales in the 70's we had access to crystal and we would often sprinkle some into our lunchtime whiskies and devil a bit of harm it done us apart from the odd funny look at work in Woolworths.

Innit. Plus, I think that when people talk about receptor saturation they're missing the point slightly; it's a fucking ridiculous dose of LSD, it's no longer playing by your rules.
 
I don't know whether there is any truth to the Chinacat, probably not as magical as it appears to be. But it's still an interesting read, if all of it isn't truth I'm sure some of it is. But like every chemical, it's down to the person who synthed it how things work. 20 miles away there could've been someone making some cid in a completely different approach/manner, for complete recreational usage.

If Chinacat and his friends didn't do a thumbprint I'd be confident in saying someone either has in the past or someone has as a result of the story. If someone had a lovely vial of crystal LSD, took it a bit too often and lost the plot or even just got adventurous as many of us do, I'd say at some point or another they'd throw a big wack into the palm of their hand just to see. Might not be in the best mental state to do it, but I've heard of it happening in this city alone at least 3 times, not a thumbprint dose because over here I doubt anyone will be seeing crystal, but when it comes to blotter some people just loose the plot and eat a shit load. I'm not too sure about the lingering effects though, anyone I know of who took acid in high doses has only had mild HPPD (if you'd call it that) for a few weeks/months afterwards and that can be gained from tripping once a week too, I call it perception change. Although, a friend of mine did once begin eating a good 1mg dose at minimum of LSD on a regular basis and due to his lack of consideration of his mental state made his psychosis even worse and began to hallucinate like he was coming down off a crystal meth binge (thought riot police were in his room taunting him, etc).
