LSD compared to meth by judge

I was really not sure where this belongs and I suppose this is more of a rant, but it may have some discussion value. If not feel free to close and I will shut up


Anyway, I ran into some legal troubles a couple months ago that dealt with LSD and today was my sentencing. I was sentenced to 3 months in jail with 2 years probation and 2000 dollar fine. 8(

During my sentencing, the judge said that LSD was a highly dangerous mind altering chemical whose effects hold danger comparable to that of methamphetamine. Besides the other millions of thoughts that were going through my head of what was going on, I nearly shat a brick after hearing this. Who the fuck are we hiring as these judges?

Sorry for your legal troubles and sentencing, that sucks.

And yeah that is some bullshit if the Judge wants to sentence you based on the law, whatever.. but to make some rediculous claim as to LSDs danger in comparison to methamphetamine is just uncalled for.

Sounds about right, one is a potent neurotoxin and the other is a nontoxic substance with no overdose level, and causes you to think deeply on level you could have never done before.

But then if you start comparing, say DOM to LSD, then then I laugh. ...it's all meth!
