Hello all. I pretty inexperienced when it comes to acid. But each time i've done it i feel it has changed my perception forever about many things. I know the way a person's personality develops is based on experience and since lsd is such a powerful experience i was wondering if it truly can permanently effect human perception somehow. Has anyone else had their perception of certain ideas and themes changed from doing acid? I'm sure many of you had but in what way and what did you learn? Do you think this is actually permanently changes the part of your brian that perceives things or it just somehow lives a lasting impression on you? I am currently doing a psychology project about lsd and human perception and any links to things online about this would be appericated. Thx all

Acid has definatly changed the way i perceive everything around me. Got me to understand reality, what was right for me in this life how to make better relationships with people and how to read people better. LSD just makes you realise that we really are all "ONE" and to live life with love rather than hate.

i agree with bikki muncher. but i would also like to add that lsd has made me question "reality"

of course it does. every experience you have changes the structure of your brain and influences how you perceive "reality." It only makes sense that a very strong experience like an acid trip would have lasting effects.

LSD temporarily dissolves your ego into the eternal Absolute Unified One AcidFiend mentioned.

When you come back to soberland, your ego/self does not reassemble in quite the same pattern.

All the king's horses and all the king's men, could not put Lucy together again...

hahaha all the better, makes for a tougher psyche to understand. I feel that LSD has changed my life for the better, in making me more creative, patient, and wise.

You wont find me flipping out often, and when i get embarassed I just realize it, rather than fumbling or having a wrong feeling. I dont fall as much as I used to....

Clean slate since 2001 and yes if you dont understand my terminology, it doesnt bother me either, I like this site because i dont have any problems communicating with them in any form i am thatday :D
