Acid : Experienced : The Psychadelic Fractal Component
Drugs Consumed: Acid (1 & 1/2 Blotters), Cannabis, Nitrous.
Setting: A party for an aquaintance's birthday.
I arrived at the house party about 9pmish, and had spent the time until we dropped in eager anticipation, or anticipation anyway. I had been relatively angry and depressed prior to coming to the party, and had not had a good day, so I was having trouble putting myself into a good tripping mindset. At about 11pmish D, N, F & myself retired outside to smoke a cone each prior to eating the acid. After pulling a cone each, we adjourned back inside, my companions had all dropped slightly before me, but the one cone of decent grade ganja had me reasonably tripped out anyway, so I then ate a blotter.
I didn't keep much of a note of time after this, or at any time during the night, because of my watch having broken a month or so previously, so apologies for innaccuracy in the times.
I was wandering around the house about half an hour after having consumed the blotter, and I could already feel it coming on strong, D was already tripping quite hard when mine started coming on, so I was talking to him, and getting more dislocated from reality. When we walked outside for another cone, I shared another tab with someone else, then having consumed a total of one and a half tabs. There's where the night starts to get a little hazy.
I remember that distinct feeling of 'alertness' being the primary feeling as the half tab started to take effect on top of the cones and other tab. I sat down in a corner outside, fighting off a tiny bit of alarmedness that had started to permeate my consciousness. I think during this time I pulled another cone, which started the visuals off for me.
Sitting down on the large concrete back step, I stared at the concrete for a few seconds, after a second or two, this snowflake shaped fractal pattern started to extrude itself from the concrete. It was sparkling in a whole range of different colours, from pinks and reds through green, orange, blue, gold and silver, all over, shimmering almost like a winamp visualiser. I stared at it for a minute or so, getting a little lost in it.
As I recall, after this, we (Myself, N, D, M & F) went inside into one of the bedrooms, there were several of us at this point, all tripping, we switched off the light, and put the 'Requiem For A Dream' soundtrack on, and lay in the dark listening to the music. I last about what feels like 2 minutes, but which is probably closer to 15 or so, before sitting up and yelling "turn this off damnit", the time spent in the dark has been interesting, as we were all cuddled up and added a warmer feeling to the experience.
From there, a few of us thought that a walk would be a nice idea as N wanted to show us the 'sink', which he'd mentioned several times, and so we bundled together, and wandered out the front door after several abortive attempts to get moving. The park across the street offered a whole wealth of enjoyment, as it was Autumn, there were huge amounts of dead leaves on the ground, I ran around like a little kid, kicking at the dead leaves and laughing hysterically at the way they twirled through the air. At this point I felt so liberated, and yet like there was a little spotlight following me around so I'd never be 'really' in the darkness. I ended up aimlessly karate kicking at a lightpost for a while, because it was quite funny to imagine myself doing it, I started laughing again. We walked through a few streets, until we arrived at this particularly bizzare sight, which was an entire kitchen sink, standing on the side of the road in someone's driveway. We pointed and laughed, it looked incredibly surreal, with this kind of glow around it like it wasn't supposed to be there.
Walking back, I had a bit of a swing on the swings in the playground at the park, I can remember feeling giddy with excitement, laughing at how fun it is, yet being rather accutely conscious of the fact that it was too cold for my hands to hold onto the chains safely. I was standing up, and swinging very high, trying to do pseudo-skateboarding moves on the swing. I jumped off and then played on the equipment some more, until everyone caught up with me. We then proceeded back into the house.
Along the way, I had been doing some thinking, and N and I ended up coming to the conclusion that the only logical name for a group of trippers (as we'd been wondering what to call our band of friends) would be a 'loop' so we were determined to post this insight on bluelight once we got back to the house, though this ended up taking up some time to enact.
Once back in the house, and light, the visuals continued to get more intense, after a while, I only needed a second's glance at something for the 'pattern' as I had started to think of it as, to grow out of it, sparkling and shimmering in scores of different colours. More cones, and more conversation, and the insanity continues. I guess by about this point it was probably close to 4am in the morning. We stayed in the room mostly, as the party was starting to wind down, watching amusing filmclips, stuff like 'Tokyo Breakfast', and 'Rejected'. Laughing our asses off.
I think I must have zoned out for a little while, because my next recollection is of it being morning. I can remember getting up for an early morning cone with 'N' and after having pulled it, we were standing on the back fence, watching the sky and early morning fog, which seemed to have this strangely illuminated quality to it, like it was a pixellated and slightly glowing mass. We leaned over the back hedge, looking into the neighbour's yard, and foolishly started yelling out stuff like "What up in da hood G?" and "Damn trippers", we realised our mistake when N grabbed me by the arm, pulling me off the low wall we were standing on, and we rushed inside as one of the neighbours yelled at us "can I help you". We laughed like a couple of schoolkids dodging detention, but hid inside for a while.
After an early morning expedition to the shops, buying some bulbs and some chocolate milk, we wandered back to the house, chalking up all kinds of random things on lightposts, driveways etc. The sunlight felt incredibly warm and benign, and the shops were quite unthreatening, given our stoned and tripping state I would normally have felt a bit paranoid, but I just enjoyed the feeling of starting off a pleasant autumn day tripping balls. The hallucinations were all but gone, though I continued to get slight trails and accentuations of some things. When we walked back to the house, and sat out in the back yard doing hits of nitrous, I felt as if some greater happiness had brushed my heart, leaving me with this slightly empty feeling, but an empty feeling with traces of incredible understanding and joy.
Overall, this trip was an incredibly enjoyable experience, and has certainly affirmed my absolute enjoyment and appreciation of LSD as a substance for self discovery and enjoyment among friends.
This trip report may not be 100% accurate, but it contains something of my feelings and experiences throughout the whole trip.

P.S: I realise that I have forgotten to mention any of the Directors and Executives of Goyld Inc. or the Geccawax Plusss, or the $4 discounted Miffenho.
I have also neglected to mention the Executive Meetings *does DnB dance* and DJ Fux in the Mist.
Sorry.
