As seen by my post count this is my first post on the forums. Hi to everybody who reads this.
So I had been planning to take acid for quite a while now (with friends), but every time something seemed to come up and it didn't happen. Well, we had taken sunday off 2 weeks back and the day finally rolled around.
I arrived at ~ 10 am at my friends house (he has moved out). There were 4 of us taking that day. The others had each experienced it at least once before and had probably a cone of weed before dropping. As this was my first experience I wanted to do it only on acid. We each had one tab - which was probably about 100-150 µg.
10:30 am: The time at which we dropped. The blotter I had was blue and looked like a cloud
We just chilled, talking about recent events and what we had planned to do for the day. I left my phone, wallet and keys in a safe spot in the house as we planned to go for a walk around the lake. The friend who owned the house had done it a couple times before and naturally took the "trip leader" position.
11:00: We had started our walk around the lake, all wearing sun glasses. One of the guys I was with had already begun the "onset". The weed most likely bringing the effects on quicker. I felt nothing yet. We arrived at a playground and sat on a bench for probably half an hour. As we were talking, I began to feel in the words I remember telling my friends; "intense and very tight". I couldn't stop smiling. I remember my muscles around my ears hurting from smiling so much. I don't remember exactly what was said as we were talking on the bench, but I remember laughing so hard.
11:30: This is about the time that I noticed lsd taking place. I still felt intense but also like I had so much energy but couldn't release it. The first time taking weed I had a terrible trip, however, in that trip I realised it was just an experience and that I would get through it. This is probably what heightened my feeling of "goodness" during my trip on acid.
We were continuing on with our walk around the lake, passing over bridges and looking at the water, just noticing how nice everything was.
12:00: At this time we started to head back as the walk around the lake would take a long amount of time and we were really thirsty. I still only had good "feelings" and heaps on energy inside of me. On the way back my friend asked if I wanted to listen to some songs on his iPod. I remember choosing a Led Zeplin song and feeling really sad for some reason, so I changed to a random metal song and that is when my first realisations of what LSD can do hit me. I remember hearing the screaming/heavy parts being the same as I normally would listen to, but the slower/melodic parts would blend and combine together and just create this awesome music in my mind. I really can't describe the exact way it sounded, but I'm sure some of you have experienced this before. As I was walking and listening to music, I found my distracted my some of the simplest stuff, a fly zooming past or a leaf looking weird. I also noticed that my friends seemed to be walking in slow motion, but somehow nothing else was in slow motion.
12:30: We had made it back to the house and I had taken off the headphones and voiced my opinions thus far to the rest of the group. Everyone seemed to have different "experiences" and realisations on their walk outside. We wern't hungry but we decided to eat some food and drink some water as we knew we probably were actually hungry. The house owner had bought some bananas, apples, juice boxes and cheese scrolls (like bread with melted cheese and stuff inside). I had a banana to start with and it was absolutely amazing. Just tasted so good. I remember opening the bag with the scrolls in them and smelling them. The smell was so overwhelming I just starting laughing at how good they were.
We didn't really check the time from here till later, so all the events happening are from now until 6 pm.
We were all just chilling on the couch just talking and just taking in everything that had happened so far. There was some daytime show on the t.v but I wasn't really focused on that. I decided to put the headphones on and listen to some drum and bass (as recommendation from a friend - choice of music which sounded good). I chose pendulum and I just remember thinking how I never noticed the blending beats and different rythms happening. During this time my friend came over and held his phone out. I could see this, 3D image with so much animation and stuff happening. I was probably looking at this for about 1 minute before I took off my headphones and said "wow, thats an awesome movie". My friends reply was "this is just a picture man". I was astounded. I knew of there would be visualisations, but I didn't expect it to be that much.
It was from looking up at the phone, everything starting morphing and "melting". The carpet would move under the fan, and the books on the shelf would move about. We decided to watch a movie. We chose the latest Alice in Wonderland. While waiting for that to copy to the hard drive, we looked at some visualisations on the laptop. There were probably like 500 or so in the folder, so we put it on a slideshow view at 15 s ea. Each one was pretty intense. I expecially liked the fractals and landscape type ones. This was really entertaining and with the music, both seemed to combine and "dance" to the music.
At this point in time the movie was ready. I was able to follow the story line (having not seen this version) and found it quite trippy. There were times in the movie where i wasn't sure if the visuals were part of the movie or not (which i loved!).
After the movie, we had another break and decided what to do from there.
6:00pm: About this time my visuals had kind of died down, things were happening in waves. we decided to head to the beach and grab something to eat. We chose upon fish and chips. This was the first time being in a place with quite a few people around. It was very different. I noticed it was really hard to concentrate on some things and ordering was quite hard. The guy probably knew we were on something, but didn't seem to mind. We ate our food on the grass just before the beach, watching the sunset and clouds. Was really beautiful.
We arrived back at my friends house and just enjoyed the good feelings. We ended up watching a t.v episodes and then heading home.
I didn't have much of a "comedown". Seemed to just die away. I really enjoyed my experience and will probably try and do it again in a couple months. I think next time I will probably take 2 tabs. Thanks for reading
I have probably left out quite a bit of detail - any questions are welcome.
