ok, im thinking about trying lsd for the first time at global this year. Ive done a few trips before like shrooms, 2cb etc. Just wondering really if it will it be too much of a head fuck for me to enjoy it? Also is it any good mixing acid and e's?

GLobal gathering has the most over the top security at any uk festival.......not ideal for set and setting.

sniffer dogs, loads of searches and swabbing and undercover plod.

The E's might make it a bit more positive.

been a few times, not found it that bad 2bh. alright they have dogs but they just seem overwhelmed and once inside ive never been bothered. think youre right though probably best just sticking to what i know in case i trip out badly
 
Yeah I wouldn't recommend being in such a crowded place when you're trying out a new psych cuz you're more likely to freak out. Sticking to what you know is probably the smarter idea.
 
STRONG acid is great for parties. I never really used acid as a spiritual tool, or for furthering myself (although you'll have some fucking revelations about life and energy and microchips and stuff anyway)

Acid was always a party drug for me.

BUT, that was at a time when there were a lot of parties with people on acid/E/speed, and combinations of them, not like now where everyones wandering round in adifferent headspace on different drugs etc.

Take strong acid at a party organised by acid heads, for acid heads, with the acid being the focus, and you will have the most fucking fun and ridiculous shenanigans you've ever been part of.

Take it at GG with a load of moody scousers, different headspaces all over the place, and you might find it a bit much.
 
yea i see what your saying, always found the same with mushrooms you know you had to be entirely comfortable with your surroundings. and creamfields is the one full moody scousers ;)
 
My mate had to give his wellies up to some bad men standing outside the hardcore tent, he had to walk back in his socks with sick down his jumper, poor man. Ha

I couldn't imagine doing it ever at a festival like that... but then trippy drugs don't agree with me at all - mushrooms, 2cbs I can't enjoy myself at all so I stay away from these substances - but the setting would not be ideal I would imagine!!.. Best of luck & enjoy the fest.
 
Double the crowd, halve the dose.

So long as you have a chilled out area where you can escape from the chaos then acid is great at a festival. However I would not use this as a balls out first time experience, rather I would keep within your own mental limits and dive in deeper at a better, less chaotic setting.

If security is tight, a tab of lsd is far easier to hide than even one or two pills.

Yeah, this is really good advice.

If you do go ahead with acid, watch the dosage, especially if you combine it with E.

If things go wrong, you may become... a youtube celebrity

If you really want to take the acid then just take a half tab for the body high and music enhancement. What blotter do you have? I've done acid at festivals loads of times and I found you can never go wrong with a half. If you are insistent on taking a full on tab then you should gauge how the vibe is at both the campsite and inside the venue. People you are with as well. Would you all stick together or easily get lost? You also need to make sure you know your way back to your tent so do a few treks into the venue and back so you can get some coordination. Bit of pre planning and you could be good. Taking a full tab could go either way but it's up to you to judge whether the time is right. Would say half be best.

Yes acid and e's go extremely well together. Just remember to lower your MD dose from what you normally do. Have fun at the festival!

I had a tab of acid at creamfields, and had a whale of a time. Wasn't too strong though, the MD was overpowering. But yeah, I can't see why not. Never been global, but I imagine the crowd is similar to creamfields, a little rowdy but mostly up for a laugh and a dance
 
^ Aye that's what I was meaning for lowering the MD dose. You want to feel the best of both. It can feel like a totally different drug(or a drug in it's own right) in my opinion when you hit that sweetspot. Just a tad too much MD has that overpowering effect.
 
I'll have to give it another whirl man, heard its pretty spectacular when it's good
 
See how you feel when you get there as others have said.... maybe leave it a day until you've got the feel of the place.... again, as others have said.
