LSD and TCA (tricyclics) Anyone actually tried?

My once a year acid trip is coming up in a week and I am taking Clomipramine, a tricyclic antidepressant.

Erowid talks about this being a bad combination and that tricyclics generally potentiate acid however I am yet to find a first hand account.

Anyone?
 
Imipramine, a different but related tricyclic, didn't seem to have too much effect as a potentiator of LSD. However, the general feeling of constant disorientation ( forgetting where I was, not recognizing places) that I got from the imipramine was GREATLY potentiated by LSD. Not a combo I'd repeat, but I'll never take imipramine again w/ or w/o LSD. There are MUCH cleaner ADs.
 
I used amitryptilline for some time and wanted to make sure there were no interactions so I waited several days before dropping a psychedelic. Sorry I can't help you.

I must say, during those days, my head was rarely in the right place to trip, probably due to the amitryptilline. Weird stuff. I used it for neuropathic pain BTW (which lead to some depresive feelings, although no real depression).

I take amitriptyline 75mg a day and haven't noticed any interaction if anything I always thought it made the trip a little weaker, but I don't think I've ever tripped without taking my medication and that's 150 trips +
 
Ok so here is the answer. As far as clomipramine is concerned it causes an almost total abolishment of LSD effects.
I am on 150mg and have been for about a year.

Very disappointing :(
