Will Lsd work if I take Risperdal,Depakote,Wellbutrin,Hydroxyzine, and Atenolol? Anyone experienced can you give me a rundown of why or why not? Even if it could work slightly weaker that would be cool.
Either the trip will blunted (how much depends on dosage, your personal makeup, tolerance, etc.), or the desirable effects of psychedelics will completely blocked. For the same reasons as the last time you asked.
You reported that acid worked for you in that thread, so why are you asking again? Atenolol seems a new addition since then, so if you're wondering about that, no beta-blockers shouldn't mess with your trip.
The antipsychotic will prevent the LSD from working properly. You won't feel a normal dose, and you will probably only feel a high dose marginally. You may feel the effects of something, but it definitely will not be a psychedelic trip.
Risperdal and hydroxyzine will block or otherwise impede your trip, Wellbutrin is not smart to mix with LSD, Depakote may also interfere negatively.
The way you can trip is by getting off all your medications and waiting about a week for them to clear out of your system. That's the only reliable way. But do note that you shouldn't abruptly discontinue your medications without talking to a doctor, as you can get strange discontinuation effects.
The antipsychotic drugs are kind of like a Narcan for psychedelics. If you have them in your blood you're going to beed a LOT of psychedelics - dangerous levels - to produce any effects.
Sekio, I dont think hydroxzine will interphere with the lsd. Its just an anti-histamine.
Edit: I stand corrected. Siko is right, its also a seritonin antagonist. I used to take it for mild anxiety and the doctor just told me it was an anti-histamine.
Btw I dont think you should be tripping. No offense but it sounds like you have quite a few mental disorders just by looking at the medications youre taking.
Hydroxyzine is actually a 5-HT2a/c and dopamine D2 antagonist in addition to its activities as an antihistamine, hence why it's useful in anxiety sometimes. Unfortunately most psychedelics need to bind at 5-HT2a to work, so h-zine could in theory interfere
Purplehaze is correct too. If you are prescribed such a broad array of drugs, you should not be ingesting psychedelics.
Well I like the Siko answer with detail.....anyways seems like a lot of road blocks at least I somehow pulled a mild trip a couple months ago....maybe it was just coincidence
