any1 have expierience with this combo?
how many blotters and maoi did you eat?
was it alot stronger?


i was going to use 3 grams syrian rue and 3 relativly weak blotters.

Yohimbe (not yohimbine which I have not tried) had mild psychedelic properties on its own. When taken with LSD, it added an incredible demension that I've never felt otherwise until years later when I tried Syrian Rue.
 
I made a thread about this. its great for self analizing your self into oblivion. I still do it though.

How much yohimbe did you take with how much lsd? I have a bottle of yohimbe somewhere around here, but I don't like it by itself. I never considered using it as a potentiator, although I have been warned about not using it with mdma.
 
damnit i hate crappy blotters. no wonder i could only buy a ten strip or more, because you need at least 3 for a decent trip! :p

youkai- so it potentiates it pretty well?

can any1 guesstimate how much more potent the blotter will be?

2-3 maybe more. it makes for one hell of a ride.
 
That would really be bad if your "weak blotters" had DOC on them instead of LSD and you took an MAOI.
 
Interesting that some people say LSD and MAOI works while others say it kills the trip. I'll report back soon with my own experience.
 
Why would it be dangerous? Any links? Were these reliable people you were reading or 15 year olds saying "I heard its like dangerous dude".

It worked for me. Can't recall too much about that specific trip as I used to drop acid weekly back then. Might try again sometime in the coming months. If so, I'll report it here.
 
AFAIK LSD in combination with an MAOI doesn't pose any significant physical threat. Perhaps l0gz was thinking of the phenethylamine + MAOI combo, which is supposed to be significantly riskier (although in some cases, such as 2c's, probably a bit overstated... but it's always better to err on the side of caution!)

Could have sworn I read it on Erowid somewhere but now that I've tried to find the article, I can't see where I read it :S

I might be talking total shit. Sorry!
