hey guys, my friend and i are going to be tripping soon up at his parents fancy cabin getaway. just want some suggestions for what we should bring/do.

Twister, tennis balls (watching flurescent objects is awesome), anything with lots of bright colours to wandle in your hands, and also pen, paper, and highlighters for those moments of insperation...
 
sounds liek your going to have some fun... i wouldnt suggest planning on doing anything, just do whatever... id say if ya get all kinds of things to use and play with and get all prepared like that, you'll end up just not even bothering with any of it, probably forgetting you even brought it, and end up using the first thing that comes to your eyes lol
 
koosh ball, frizbe, oranges, some kinda musical instrument, bubbles, lava lamp, anything glow in the dark, kaleidescope, Rush: Caress of Steel CD, skittles, def pen and paper...Tangerine Dream is also great trip music...but like the others said, you may not even mess with anything you brought because at the time the carpet may be more interesting LOL

Pink Floyd's "The Wall" is a great movie (if you're into that music)

This one is cool too...

I like to stare at something and when I finally see some cool hallucinations I try to draw what I see so other people can maybe understand it... I can't draw worth a shit, but people have understood my drawings and what I was trying to convey... also drawing without looking at your hand or the paper is pretty cool too. It's interesting to see what you come up with.

Jacuzzi/Hot Tubs are fun too... the pulsating jets make me see the strangest shit. and the bubbling water looks great!

If you trip at night or if your trip extends to the night time, stare up at the stars. I thought i've seen meteor showers before... check it out
 
I generally think bringing a lot of junk is a big mistake. Music is good, and sometimes artwork, but otherwise I just meditate for the majority of the trip.
 
how about smoking pot, is that a good idea?.

or does that just dull the experience?

So true. Those two substances have produced the most intense feeling i have ever experienced.
 
I suggest looking over at Drug Culture to see what kind of fun activities there are while tripping.
