+2:45 ( 1:00 AM ) - As the peak began to visually and mentally peak, I reached for 2 canisters of whipped creme. In the process of coming up on roughly 250µg (+- 25) of incredibly clean and visual LSD, the goal of the nitrous (mind you, my first psychedelic combination) was to amplify the acid's effect.
To provide some background on the effects of nitrous on me, I always have a sense of divine and pure connection that develops into a manifestation of the "secrets" or "meaning" of life. This nitrous "peak", which is always powerful and explosive, is always fleeting and leaves me confused and giggling.
However, as soon as the second canister left my mouth... it can only be explained as the ultimate psychedelic orgasmic experience. Everything that I have searched for using psychedelics was experienced in an intense, empirical rush. Although I've never tried anything like IV coke/heroin, I am pretty confident that this is the psychedelic correlation to the empowering RUUUUUUUSHHHHHHHHH. As if the galaxy's superhighway had instantly hijacked the receptors in my brain, a direct connection to the deepest, most objectively-experiencable reality was momentarily achieved.
Visually, on nitrous, I usually see a circular "speedometer"-esque gauge in the center of my vision. Normally, it may fill up dimly to 20-25, and sometimes even 30% of the way, but this time it was completely different. JACKPOT!
100% of this gauge filled with the most beaming, radiant light. The normal "coming to" after a mind-blowing nitrous experience is normally confusing and hectic, which results in a loss of meaning to the experience. However, with the LSD, the nitrous experience seemed to be ENTIRELY lucid. It "CLICKED" - the ANSWER. A full +4 by definition, it was a pure rush of euphoric psychedelia. However, as soon as this full knowledge was attained...
The opening of this "speedometer" turned into a fractal of my consciousness - not only would this speedometer "open up" and the connection that the speedometer created "fell out" through the bottom. This recursively continued to occur, essentially amplifying this fractal, and completely turned, and sucked my world upside down. It felt as if the entire world was a joke... as if the entire existence of consciousness and the reality around us was absolutely hypocritical in nature. Human nature is inherently flawed and destined for autonomous failure, as motivation and drive for subconscious, hard-coded wants and needs result in greed and hatred.
For the next 5-10 minutes, this fractal continued to occur, following a parabolic model... the speedometer would "unlock", and give me an exponentially less amount of insight through each iteration, while my insanity would follow. This gave me the impression that I would never return to baseline.
Slowly but sure, I fell back into the LSD peak after an hour and a half, but the trip still had a 'wobbly', 'fuzzy' and overly 'confused' overtone.
Overall, nitrous and LSD provided me with a possible +4 experience (seriously, how do you know... I felt it was a +4 at the time), but it felt 'forced' and rather 'fake' looking back.
