LSD 25 question

What is the difference (if any) between LSD 25 and just LSD

Is there a difference? I thought LSD was always LSD 25 but people just didn't bother to add the 25 when saying it.

(From Hoffmans Lab Notes : "A number of pharmacological experiments were carried out by Professor Ernst Rothlin with this new compound, which was given the laboratory code name LSD-25 because it was the twenty-fifth compound of the Iysergic acid amide series.:")

So does this mean that all LSD used in trips liquid or blotter is LSD-25 ?
Or would say LSD-24 work as a phsycadellic compound ?

no difference....LSD 25 was just the 25th lysergic coumpound synthed by hoffman...the only other lysergic compounds that are known to work in humans are LSA and ALD
