LSD-25 First Timer questions?

Hello Bluelight, I really hate to be that guy but I am picking up some Acid from a hook of mine and it is my first time, I will be taking it with 3 other friends (also first timers) in a Safe and Comfortable environment. But I have a few inquisitions about it, with the term "Bad Trip" being a common association with Psychedelics and a lot of times being thrown around loosely but what are factors in this (music choice or activities and what not). Also I am debating on whether to take 2 or 3 hits, I understand that it depends on tolerance, potency, and past history with Psychedelics in general. As I understand it the Acid we all plan on purchasing is in between the Average to Higher potency stuff (On a sidenote the stuff he has is called Hydro Microdot and the other LSD is Triple Microdot). Also I have never done any Psychedelics, my usual drug of choice Ecstasy and I have done a lot of it as being a raver all through High School in the Seattle area. I already know that 1 hit will not be enough just because I tend to go for a more intense adventure. A lot of friends of mine who are semi-experience or experienced users (not frequent but have dosed enough in the past) say that 3 is the magic number. What are your thoughts on all of this? Also I'm sorry about writing this fucking book I just want to be clear on all of this!

Bad trips are quite rare, and chances of having one is quite low(this, of course, depends on you, your personality and your life), but in general 'true' bad trips are very rare. By 'true bad trips' I mean vastly negative and unplesant experiences, from which you don't get anything useful. "Difficult" experiences are more frequent, but don't be afraid of them. Psychedelics tend to bring all kinds of various stuff to the surface: your childhood memories, subtle details of your life & environment that you haven't noticed, strange ideas and concepts that were floating in you mind, and, yes, sometimes inner problem that you have to dealt with. If you have a such experience, it is very likely that you will be thankful to psychedelics.

Guessing by your nickname, your aim is recreation, so you probably want to avoid such experience. You can lower chances of having difficult(and bad) trip by choosing more postive music to listen, by doing LSD in comfortable setting, by doing it in a good mood, and by starting with lower dose.
Currently, you don't know how psychedelics will affect your mind, so why use higher dose? Do 2, maybe 2.5 hits, and if you aren't satisfied - take higher dose the second time.

I guess 3 is a magic number because an average blotter is said to contain 75 ug of LSD, thus 3 blotters contain 215 ug(or 150-250 ug). But you're a first timer, why push it?

next, why would 3 be the magic number? especially with a drug youve never done and dont know?
a lot of people enjoy low dose trips as much as others love the high dose ones, so why risk going overboard? a bad trip might happen either way, but at least you will be more in control...

like allium said, perhaps its better to go a bit lower the first time...

Start with just one. Microdots tend to be pretty strong, and the head space is very different from MDMA. I wouldn't worry too much about a bad trip, but taking an excessive dose is a great way to increase the likelihood.

Acid is a much easier drug to be happy on, I'm acually glad you arent starting on shrooms, idk why but those things are just crazy with me lol.
