Hi everyone, could somepne please tell me the difference between LSD-25 and LSD-D3?

Thanks a bunch

Me neither. this is what a quick google search found:

" Potent hallucinogen; non-selective serotonin receptor agonist. Has been used experimentally as adjunct in study and treatment of mental disorders. Controlled substance."

I don't think so much that the question is, what is the difference between LSD and LSD-D3, but what the hell is LSD-D3?

I think this is more like ADD stuff.

so basically, even though they are slightly different chemically, they should essentially have the same sort of effect if consumed?

Also, if someone were to go through the trouble and synthesize LSD, why would they make LSD-D3 instead of the more commonly known and accepted LSD-25?

Most LSD produced in NL, DE, BE is not the actual -25 stuff these days, and it's 4 sure not the 3d version. For the US the family still produces lsd-25 def.

well, the chemical difference would be only very slightly actually, as would most likely the effects when consumed.

LSD=LSD-25

LSD-25 is just a ridiculous way to refer to LSD. Calling it that makes you sound like a rube. :D

LSD-d3 (the 3 should prolly be written as a subscript) is just deuterated LSD, as others have mentioned. Deuterium is a hydrogen atom with a proton and a neutron instead of just a proton.

Is there anywhere to back that up? - Not doubting you necessarily.

This thread has some information that would say otherwise. But I'm always interested to hear if it's true or not as there is always the claims that American LSD is cleaner. :)

I'm not completely sure about this, but my guess would be that the version with deuterium is useful for various metabolic/neurological studies due to the different spectroscopy properties of deuterium relative to regular hydrogen. As others have already mentioned, it seems doubtful that the effects would be noticeably different.

I second the source, reference, origin of hearsay.

I, however doubt it, with my logic being if that was true, one of EU harm reduction organizations would sooner or later come in touch with and as such, info would circle on online forums.
