So a year and a half ago I had a traumatic incident whilst tripping at the end of a three day drug binge.
Now, prior to this I had been a heavy party drug user, using ketamine and lsd most frequently, but this was experience was unlike anything else. I've been diagnosed and am now recovering from PTSD resulting from this incident, but I am still no closer to understanding what happened. From my own research I have deduced that it is possible I had a stroke. I still have a lot of weird feelings surrounding what happened, so it is difficult for me to talk about. I was hoping someone could shed some light?

The incident: I had taken a tab of acid with a friend during the day time after rolling through from a three day bender. No real effect from the tab, just light visuals. We take another tab a few hours later and as it kicks in we begin having a pleasant, mellow trip, the sun is shining etc. My friend starts getting upset and angry about something, it begins to rain torrentially. We are in a large area, an old airfield, there's no where to shelter, I can't think of a way to get out. My friend is still acting up, refusing to move out the rain, talking about how 'this is it, there is nothing more in the universe' generally being very depressive and sketched out. At this point I don't feel very high, I'm going thinking rationally etc. I go to grab him when suddenly time starts skipping, everything turns crystallised, and I'm watching myself from out my body. I can see my face crystallised, in particular my eyes. I'm trying to walk over to the grass but time just keeps skipping. I'm panicking a lot and shout to my friend that somethings gone wrong. I'm not sure how long this lasted, but I then started having a panic attack and ended up in an ambulance, tripping heavily. This doesn't seem like a bad trip to me, it was like nothing I've ever seen or imagined. For a long time after I was convinced I'd broken my brain, and had vague feelings of broken energy. For the sake of moving on with my life, I'd really like to figure out what happened!

where you on ketamine also while this happens?ketamine together with acid can induce some pretty hardcore out of body experiences that are perceived more actively due to lsds stimulating properties than with ketamine alone, which puts you in a trance like sedated state where things like this dont terrifiy you that much.Mdma also adds up to this being an stimulant,i also once had a out of body experience where i "flew" around the dancefloor, seeing myself from above and could go outside the building and seeing whats going on there alll without moving myself.Thats just imaginery mixing up with real perception allowed by psychs.
you had a out of body experience, nothing else makes sense since you didnt wenn psychotic the days after, just got a trauma
just lay off ALL drugs for a few months,i had simmilar experience and things will get right by theirselfes, time heals everything
Also smoking weed is the worst thing you could do now,as it tends to reproduce traumatic feelings caused by trips

hope this helps you to close this chapter
and i reccomend you to not take psychedelics till you are fully grown(25) because it tends to distort personality forming in a time where personality forms the most(teenage time).I say this because you are only 17 years old or even 16

Yep - set and setting is crucial to a trip, highly advise going into such an experience when you're well rested and fresh.

Tripping at the end of a three day binge will fuck most people's heads up. I'm sure the damage isn't permanent - just take it easy.
