Well I'm still in the process of coming down to baseline so I'm unsure where I will start with the story, but I have been comtemplating taking LSD for a very long time, I had previously tried 1 blotter quite a few months ago now that really didn't much for me, but even then I felt unsure on alot of things and only now did I feel was ready to handle the experience.

I pick-up 4 Dexter blotters(2 for me and 2 for a mate, lets call him D, this is D's second time tripping) which seem to be quite good quality according to Bluelight, and also a bag of weed which was probably the best thing I've ever purchased (You will find out why this is so, later on).

Now I'd read up on these Dexters and they seemed to be quite strong gathering from all the reports. So D and I decided we would take 1 and then re-access if we needed anymore an hour or 2 into the trip.

D and I drove up to a favourite smoking spot of ours, right near an old war memorial site. This spot was literally just a few roads away from my house, so we thought if we're too fucked to drive we could just walk back to my house as it really wasn't far away.

Around 8:25pm I take my first blotter, D follows once he has finished chopping up enough pot for a session 5mins later.

I'd just come off taking a whole month off from smoking pot, and only now was I to experience "Lucy" and "Mary Jane" together as it should be, so I thought.

I only smoke 1 cone and am absolutely blasted, we bring a grand selection of music especially for the occasion, putting on Led Zepp "Houses of the Holy" as the first CD of the night attempting to set a euphoric mood for the rest of the trip. After this CD has finished D and I decide to explore outside for a while. Everything seems so artificial, D pointed out a movie set scenario, which seemed to be exactly right. As if, everything was placed where it was for a reason, and everything would follow a certain sequence. It was also rather interesting the sensation you get once looking down or far away at an object, like it would seem amazingly far away and to a much bigger scale that I had expected.

We get back to the car and decide to listen to the great "Dark Side Of The Moon" CD, by none other than Pink Floyd of course. We smoke a few more cones and the music is just sounding incredible. This was how Pink Floyd was meant to be heard I thought, and I still believe every true Floyd fan should experience this at least once in their lifetime. Every song had such depth to it, there is definetly a meaning behind every song on that album unlike no other.

Another adventure follows the completion of the album and this time we decide to walk up to the school, not much of a walk away from the car. The angle we were walking up is quite steep and it was very interesting how everything would seem like it would collapse at some time, as if we were walking over an edge so to speak. We eventually made it to the school and in plain view in the middle of the undercovered area I spot a football! D and I decide to kick around for a while. I seemed to control my kicking almost perfectly but I just couldn't catch any balls, it was as if the ball was going straight through my hands sometimes. Quite fun anyhow, but after a while we decide to head back to the car. Around this point I was comtemplating with D whether to have the other blotter, as I was expecting more still for some reason. In my head I was even taunting the LSD to show me what it can do, big mistake as you will find out.

Around 2 and half hours have now passed and this time we forced to choose between Cream's "Disraeli Gears" and Jimi Hendrix's "Axis Bold as Love". I suggest to D that this is possibly the hardest decision of all time in regards to music selection. Eventually we decide on Cream, pack another few cones or so and were just in the process of waiting to see where the music would take us. Then, the unthinkable happened. The battery died. De-Ja-Vu I thought at once. As this was the exact same thing that happened to me on 2C-B.

As D and I were busy in our tripped out state comtemplating leaving the car where it was and walking back to my house a stranger appeared. This person had very bad vibes coming from them and wouldn't believe us when we said the car had broken down, as he thought we were just saying making it up obviously. "The person" demanded a cone so I gave him one, as I was starting to get a bit freaked out at this stage. He was talking to us like he was one of us but was clearly not, as I could just see the unpredictability wanting to come out. He wouldn't believe us about the car no matter how many times we told him, and the tone in which D kept telling the person got to me, as it was as if D was looking down on "the person" in the tone he spoke with his voice. "The person" then started threatening D with violence, this was starting to get a little too out of hand, as I'm sure it would for a sober person, let alone 2 people tripping off their nuts...

I attempted talking to "the person" as just another one of us, there was no judgement of any sort. I was relating to things he was telling me in a attempt to win his trust even though this would be hard in someone as unpredictable as this. He really seemed to have it in for D now, and I was really getting worried, trying steer the conversation clear of possible negative outcomes. He still wouldn't believe us about the car so to prove my point let him have a shot at starting it. Even though it wouldn't start for him either he seemed to think we were in somehow trying to fuck him over by not letting it start I guess. No matter how many times I tried to tell him he just wouldn't have any of it, I reflected to D afterwards that this was part of the sequence and I don't think there was a way possible in making him believe what I was saying was true, due to this sequence that cannot be broken.

Eventually time went on, and "the person" was getting more aggressive and unpredictable. I wasn't sure how to handle this at all, and for some reason suggested push-starting the car. D and I were pushing the car with "the person" in the driver's seat trying to get it started(Yes, I know this sounds like a very silly thing to do) but it was also another way of building trust.

Next thing, the car starts, from the push-start and "the person" takes off, out the carpark, down the road, D and I are left in the carpark freaking the fuck out. I thought that was it, he's stolen my car, won't be seeing that again...

But I was wrong,

he came back...

He started hooning up and down the carpark we were in, I was in such a tripped out state I didn't know what to do. D and I even started running at one point...Was he trying to run us over or was he really going to give us the car back? Something made me think to the latter, whatever it was.

As we were running off I heard him get out of the car and say "Caaarm back, I don't wanna steal your caaaar".

D and I were very reluctant but slowly started walking back. "The person" saw us running off and this broke the trust...

He then demanded something in exchange for not taking off with my car. Again, how do deal with a sutuation like this when you are peaking on acid? He was getting really manic and aggressive at this stage, and he started demanding things like my phone, the weed or something else. I desperately searched for the weed in my bag, but even if it was in my bag, there was just no way in the tripped out stage as I was in that I would ever find. This also made it look like I was deliberately saying I couldn't find it on purpose, even though I would of gave anything to find the weed at that moment in time, but of course he was never going to believe me due to the sequence.

Starting to get in a manic state myself I offered him my camera, I went to find it, and guess what... I couldn't find that either. Again further strengthening "the persons" thinking that I was indeed trying to screw him over. He was starting to threaten me and my mate again and said if we don't come up with something for him soon he would take off with the car. I was still desperately searching in my bag trying to find the weed or the camera, I didn't care which, this was getting far too intense and I was getting to a stage where I was thinking I couldn't handle much more.

D checks out the car for anything we could give to "the person", and finds the weed! He gives it straight to "the person", and he walks right off and we never see him again...

I cannot put in words the relief I felt once D found the weed...

Finally it was over.

We tried starting the car once the person had gone and again it didn't start, so we decided to walk home and call roadside assistance a bit later once we've calmed the fuck down.

On the walk home D and I had to walk down this massively steep hill, D reflected that there was only bad at the bottom of this hill, but I said immediately afterwards "But, it goes up after this", hence LSD. Up and down waves seem to define LSD's nature.

Once we finally got home we watched a few assorted DVD's for a while, and I was starting to overcomtemplate things a bit too much in regards to what happened with "the person". So I decided to drop a few valium(not sure what I would of done without these) and thank god they calmed me right back down. D also took a couple.

An amazing learning experience I look at this trip as a whole, it was a real test in dealing with high pressure situations. But somehow we got out of it, not just with my car but with our lives. Next time though, I will be sure to choose a better setting. Afterall, that is what makes or breaks your LSD trip - Set and Setting.

god i hope you encounter that guy again without being riddled on acid, and that karma smacks him down :)

Man that sounds fcuked up.

Personally I would have immediately went into paranoid mode giving out fcuked up vibes like D did. No way is one guy gonna take on 2.
Building trust is one thing but offering your personal stuff or car key is another ... that guy knew right away he had youz and would milk what he could ... hindsight and all that but NEVER allow cunts like that any space.

Anyway good report and I'm glad it turned out well.

PS Soz ... me is a little G'd up so a tad more direct than normal 8(

PPS Cones and acid is the worst idea on this earth ... just say no ... till later ;)

That's terrible. As Mean Girl said, I hope you run in to him in the future.

Well I had to offer him something or he would of taken my car. It was his way of classing himself as better than us, and even looked like he could have been speeding as he was asking us where he could get any.

Of course if I wasn't tripping I would of never suggested to push-start the car in the first place, extreme stress + acid can make you do silly things...

Wtf.
That's fucked up, if your ever driving and see that guy again, I want you to run him over. haha
To much stress for a person on lsd.

To be honest I would have fought him myself no matter how dodgy rather than deal with someone on LSD, its too fucked up. Although aggression may have sent you to hell, Ive been in a similar situation on acid when being followed by a gang but we ended up getting ready to fight with overtones of acting insane to freak them out, luckily it never came to that.

next time, DONT TRIP OUTDOORS!!!

ive read a lot of trips that went bad when they were outside due to weather or people comming up to them or plain weirdness. just, chill at home with a few blotters, go outside to smoke when your comming down next time.

^^ on the contrary the biggest highlights of my trips have been in outdoor settings, usually connected in some way to nature. But obvouisly some places are going to be better than others...

About that guy, how random?! I have a theory that being on drugs attracts wierd situations and coincedences - like they would be just as strange if you were straight, but they happen more frequently when on drugs.

Especially trips and weed.

Cool story :)

Thats actually an interesting theory. As your mind is opened up, hence attracting all kinds of weird situations and coincedences.

The thing is, this place we went to is usually pretty safe and I've never seen anybody of Aboriginal nature/race even close to that spot before. But I guess what can you expect at 11:30 on a Friday night...

I definetly had an enhanced fasination for outside, right up until "the person" came. So I plan to explore this further with a higher dosage and different "safer" location next time.

I hear ya ... next time get him to push and promise him a lift to wherever then run him over for being such a prick [just a sideswipe mind not kill him 8o] :)

Wow man... that made me anxious just reading that... the guy would have freaked me out hard but I bet all the adrenaline I'd get would probably help some. I definately wouldn't have gave up anything to him but I understand the vulerable feeling of tripping in a bad situation...

That trip report made me carry 2 knives instead of 1. I probably would of done the same in your situation. tough brake man. just hope you bump into him when he's tripping and your not

Nasty shit man.

Shows how people's minds differ on chemicals though; last time somebody tried getting funny with me when i had a head full of acid i wrapped a chair round their head.
