Since I started doing various types of drugs, I always looked at LSD with this fear, and great desire to do it. I've heard people had the best and worst times of their lives, and it has really changed them for better and for worse. I thought that it was like being sober and looking at pretty colors morphing around the room for 12 hours - and I was so wrong. LSD is a mind game, sure it can bring up great hallucinations, but the best part is the head space and thought process changes. I never saw anything breath-taking, but I gained a new respect for the world around me that has lasted to this day, a month after my first LSD trip.
[T+ 00:00] It was 10:00 P.M. I had taken my blotter and put it under my tongue. It tasted a little soapy, but it was generally tasteless. I am in a very excited and anxious mindset, ready to enter the world of psychedelics head on for my first time.
[T+ 00:05] I kind of felt this, electrical feeling at the base of my tongue. Is it my mind or just the drug doing what it is supposed to?
[T+ 00:45] First alerts come about now, and I feel some strange bodily high. I feel that whenever I move my body, I feel tense and I get this electrical feeling in whatever I moved. I keep checking my eyes for dilation, and my pupils look slightly bigger than before, but still not the dilation I've gotten from MDMA or Amphetamines.
[T+ 01:00] My parents are going to bed, I think I'm starting to feel the effects full on. Talking to my parents seems so, alien. I managed to talk to them normally, but it just felt, different. I notice that my pupils are even bigger now, but still not as close as an MDMA high. I also note that thoughts seem to be so much faster than usual, this is definitely nootropic in spite of the psychedelic edge.
[T+ 01:30] I'm starting to peak. Colors just seem more significant to me. They don't look really different, as much as they seem new. It feels like I'm seeing the world for the first time, and it is really spectacular; everything just looks so crisp, and clean! I decide to go outside and sit in my back yard with my headphones as it's a full moon and it's really bright out. I notice a sort of an emotional euphoria, not a full body orgasm like MDMA, but more like a feeling of great happiness and amazement.
[T+ 03:00] Time feels non-existent, and when I look at my phones clock, the seconds seem to be going by slower than usual! I'm still where I was before, just listening to some trance and looking at my surroundings, it all looks so surreal. I see light visuals, like when I look at the sky, the clouds kind of morph around and get bigger and smaller, and the clear parts of the sky look to be rippling with blueish colors a vertical fashion. I'm feeling very euphoric, the world is so beautiful, and I feel very good about myself. The music also sounds so much better than usual, the melodies are so much crisper, and it just sounds so much better to me.
[T+ 05:00] It's about 3 A.M. and I go inside and lay in bed. I'm definitely starting to come-down, and I feel great anyways. Unlike an MDMA or an Amphetamine comedown, it feels like a relief, and a happy walk back into reality. I put my headphones down on my desk, and I am just laying in bed, trying to sleep. I'm seeing some CEV's surprisingly. It faintly looks like I'm going through a tunnel into a darkness, and the 4 walls around me are just going backwards. This continues until I fall asleep.
[T+ 14:00] I wake up from the best sleep I've had ever. I feel energetic and refreshed, and like a new man.
Overall, LSD was a life changing experience for me. I had never felt so amazed in all my life, and even though I never saw any intense CEV's or OEV's, I love this chemical and plan on doing it again after a responsible time.
