So 2 weekends ago my cousin threw a party and one of his friends just happened to have some LSD for sale. My brother graciously fronted me the money and we each got 2 hits. I was a lil skeptical because instead of tabs they were laced sweet tarts. But I love psychedelics so It was worth the risk. I was already drunk so I figured I'd wait.

Fast forward to this past Monday. I new id have the house to myself and I didn't have to work so I thought I'd do a lil test dose to see how good these bad boys were. Mainly because, as I've mentioned in other threads, I also have ~4g of dried mushrooms which I have already tried an 1/8 of the weekend before aforementioned party. And i am interested in trying a combo of acid and shrooms.

So around 1045, after finishing the few responsibilities I had that day, I took half of one tab on an empty stomach. I then turned on some Adventure Time on netflix since I figured it would put me in a good positive head space. I didn't have high expectations going in, maybe some light visuals. But as usual around the 30-45 minute I got a little anxious and took the second half. Of course 10 minutes later I started to get the body high and my nerves started to ease.

For some reason I then switched to Archer and a wave of euphoria hit me. I giggled like my first few times smoking bud. I went out a few times to play with the dogs but being in the Midwest in December it's not exactly warm. But trees and carpets have always been triggers for intense OEV any time I've tripped so even without the leaves I was lured outside briefly. I then when inside and saw all kinds of patterns and breathing in the carpet. There was even a slight steam rising from the carpet which was a first.

I tried listening to some music , but my dad unexpectedly came home for lunch and so I spent the next hour trying not to act weird but still enjoy the trip as I was in the midst of a peak that was more intense than I had expected.

I was pretty proud of myself as I was able to quickly pull myself out of any looping or bad vibes, something I've been wanting to get better at. My minds constantly racing even sober so psyches can exacerbate that at times.

But after my dad left had a first that I really enjoyed and had been hoping to experience at least once in my life. When I looked outside everything seemed.to have a shimmer around it, and after a few moments of focus i started to see fractals running thru all the grass, dirt, trees and sky. It was truly remarkable. Definitely my favorite part of the trip. Probably helped that I smoked a joint right after my dad left bc then another wave came and almost hit me as strong as the first.

The only physical distress I felt came with the come down in the form of a slight headache and a lil heart burn. But A Bowl AND Glass of milk fixed that. Overall, I was very happy with the experience. I was felt fine the next day and I feel like I could trip again tomorrow If I didn't have to work.

on that note, I do look forward to doing both the lsd and mushrooms. I feel like I've Got a good handle on psyches that a small to moderate dose of both will be the shit. I'll let you guys kno how that goes.

I'd be really interested to hear how you've improved this :)

For the most part just doing some research and lurking on BL the past couple weeks helped. Learning that looping actually had a name and hearing other people's difficult trip stories made it a lot easier to handle once I knew it wasn't just me experiencing those things. Plus I've just gotten better at figuring out what triggers it, which I believe is half the battle.

I'll also add that I've had indigestion and heart burn issues lately regardless of substance use. Which, if I'm being honest with myself, may be partially due to heavy alcohol and cocaine use in the past 2 years. I've been off coke for about 3 months tho and laid off the drinking significantly
