Within the week I should be getting 100 Hawaiian Baby Woodrose Seeds (Hawaiian strain) and 1oz of dried Salvia leaf. I have asked this question on another forum I frequent and have done quite a bit of searching online to no avail, but has anybody had any experience in mixing LSA and Salvia by route of quidding it, not smoking the salvia.

I would like to hear how the experience went, mental effects, visuals, etc. I intend on taking a fairly high dose of both HWBR (I have extensive experience with LSA via Morning Glories) and the salvia quid, and am going to try to time it so the peaks of both coincide. At that point I will be smoking a blunt and kill off the last of my DMT and hopefully melt into everything/nothingness.

So anybody ever combined 'em in that fashion?

Sorry I have to contribute mate, but I would love to know how this goes. You might be better off going in to it without the expectations of other people's experiences anyhow; it would certainly make for a unique and untainted headspace that way.

Please report back on this. I always find it fascinating hearing how Salvia combines with other psychedelics.

This is very true! It will also be my first experience with a salvia quid and my first time doing LSA in almost a year so my expectations are nil. I'm trying to decide whether to do it McKenna-style in a completely dark, silent room or (my preference for possible entheogenic experiences) wandering around this beautiful forest park nearby. Would've been fitting for Spring but I suppose a snowy, frostbitten forest'll do just fine :D

As far as I can tell I'm going to be experimenting with this combo for the next 2 months or so, so I'm going to report back everything I learned! Someone on the other forum I posted this in actually called me a "pioneer" for this, haha.

Never done this particular combo, but I'd recommend staying in a dark room opposed to being out and about.

I love being out in nature on acid, but when salvia gets really strong I'm completely cut off from reality. I've witnessed people get up and walk into things, completely unaware of their surroundings.

Depending on how hard you trip, this could be a bad thing. Don't want to be falling down rocks/off cliffs/scaring other forest wanderers in your perceived insanity!

be careful. salvia can really blast your mind. and its not like smoking where no matter what its gone in 2 or 3 minutes. a quid lasts a long time (compared to smoking) and some really intense effects can kind of sneak up in you. i have never done LSA at all, just giving you the heads up, sometimes salvia quids can be unpredictable.

Smoking salvia while on some strong blotter LSD was awesome. Seemed deeper and more coherent and meaningful, less random experience than smoking it.

I have long been an advocate of sublingual use of the Emerald Essence salvia extract... slower and easier to integrate and more meaning than with the excessive high-speed bizarreness of smoking.

So.... I am guessing LSA + Salvia by quid will probably be exquisite.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give us a detailed report here (or at least link to your report here) in this thread, if you dont mind? Very interested in hearing how it is.

I love this post of yours about sublingual Salvia, Dwayne:

I AGREE... smoked salvia, strictly counseled against by the S. American shamen who discovered, cultivated and experimented with the Salvia plant over thousands of years, indeed sucks, and is like being tossed down a mountainside blindfolded in a wooden barrel, or being melted down, turned into a balloon blown up but not tied then released and being allowed to careen randomly around a room bouncing off the walls.

Sublingual Salvia extract, used precisely as instructed, professionally prepared with a standardized level of Salvinorin A (such as one noted expert's Emerald Essence... avoiding lousy ineffective amateurishly made preps that are little more than concentrated Savlia leaf tea), however, is entirely different. COMPLETELY.

Comes on slowly and deliberately, like a gentle instructor teaching your mind the new steps to a magical dance. But one that you find much to your surprise you already know and have done before. Slow enough that you can actually observe the process of transformation that is happening... feel slowly opened doors to new ways of seeing and understanding... accept as enchanting visions the experiences you are being offered. Yet you recognize it all... a slowly dawning, highly moving feeling of Deja Vu, of coming home, an undeniably potent to the core sensation of "This is where I and all of our 'I's are originally from... deep blue cobalt light, the most beautiful illumination you have ever seen, comes up from the ground and from behind objects in your local environment, deepening the ancient and inviting magical trance, until you drift off, close your eyes and simultaneously open them in a brilliant golden honey-colored sun illuminated field, meadow or yard that you cannot place but remember having run in... blue sky and clouds float spacily by overhead... and you close your new eyes in this place... only to simultaneously open them in the next vista of endless imagination.... this could go on forever you think to yourself... NO... this HAS BEEN going on forever... vaguely, fondly remembering your Earthly human existence as but one stop among an infinite number of way-stations your eternally traveling spirit has visited then left... visited then left.... visited then left...

It sounds like you've had some real success with the sublingual route. I've used the tincture as well, and I believe I either didn't have optimal oral hygeine for sublingual absorption, or the setting was too distracting. It was nice, but I didn't have chance to really float away with the experience like you so eloquently describe.

OP, it sounds like you'll be doing more than one trial with this. I'd be interested to see how the different settings you describe affect it; it seems that sublingual Sally allows one to be mobile whilst still being very intoxicating, and with LSA I can imagine a very splendid walk in the forest. The intense hyperscape will undoubtedly manifest more profoundly in stillness and silence, but if you're alone in the forest I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to lift off laying down staring up at the canopy. I think I might have to get myself another bottle of Emerald Essence!

DwayneHoover's post conjures up feelings of unity, anxiousness and a strong desire to reconnect with the All, communing with the Source of "where I and all our 'I's originate from" as you so eloquently and wisely put it. All in all I'm very fucking stoked and hope to delve further into the grand mystery through meditation with these powerful allies.

Anndddddddddddd...

I ordered the Salvia on Monday.. shipped that same day... and it is now sitting right next to my Calea Zacatechichi =D Might test out a small quid dose tonight after I drink my Calea tea. I have heard reports that smoked calea/salvia synergize extremely well, and that their chemical make-up is actual VERY similar. I am fairly certain that this will result in fairly interesting dreams, waking effects I have no idea what to expect.

Once my HBWR come in I will do extensive trials with this combo and the next time I return I hope to have some fairly good news for you all!

Namaste

Edit: ArenaEthnobotanicals is AWESOME. Quick shipping, coupon included, affordable.

The forest I have tripped in a couple of times has, nearly every instance, brought upon some spiritual resurgence within me. It has a very 'sacred' vibe to it, and when the weather gets better I will be venturing deep within and go back to the meditation spot I found, very secluded on a square stone with some engravings on it.

Or I might just brave the bullshit snow we've been having and head in there very soon. Anywho, off for some tea, quiddage and a cally/sally joint for me before I hit the hay. ;)

DwayneHoover, your experience makes me really want to give quiding a go again. I've never been to big of a fan of launching into something so abruptly, and I've always known salvia has something to offer in the right setting. Kappa agonism doesn't help with reaching positive experiences, but with more time to integrate and understand your environment I could see it being less of an issue.
