Is there any problem with either 151 proof vodka or rhum for diluting LSA extract since 190+proof isn't an option? Is there anything in the rhum that harm the alkaloids ?

Don't think so.

There isn't that much more than water and ethanol in spirits like rum or vodka.

Does that amount of water in the 151 proof have the potential to break down the LSA significantly? Cool dark storage I know about, but I haven't read anything about the difference in various alcohols for dilution.

If CWE's (cold water extractions) are common for LSA-containing seeds then I'd venture to guess no: water is fine. The alcohol would help keep it from going bad. Liquid acid typically comes in spirits or ethanol/everclear, so that indicates ethanol safety for ergoloids. Not that I was worried: it seems unusual for most solvents to ruin drugs.
