I need tips to do this because stopping is not an option right now and i have to inhale around 30-40 decent sized hits of high grade kush to feel anything anymore. I've tried tolerance breaks but I always end up right back where is started... tips to get higher? I smoke out of a bong and a bubbler mostly.

id say smoke less but it doesnt sound from your post that your likely to do that

start looking into hash or extracts?

anyway the real solution is to smoke less, maybe try to exercise as well because that helps to release stored THC in your fat cells

How can you possibly lower your tolerance without quitting? That would be every smoker's dream, I'm sure.

As everyone who has already replied to this prior to myself has said, you need to quit smoking for some time or smoke less (which will be the least effective of the two). However, smoking less will most likely result in wasting weed with how you've described your tolerance.

I sincerely wish you the best in whatever you decide to do. Lowering one's tolerance is a pain, but I think it's always well worth the suffering in the end. :)

Delay your first hit of the day for as long as possible. If you work a 9-5 then don't smoke until you get home after work. Once you get used to that try & delay smoking until after dinner if you can. Use weed as a reward akin to a few beers after a busy day because you simply do not need to smoke that many bowls. It is wasteful both of your lungs & your stash :).

You can't do it. To achieve the end you're looking for, you have to either cut back or stop smoking entirely.

Tolerance rises as a result of usage. Therefore, we can conclude that eliminating usage will, at the very least, cause your tolerance to level off and not go any higher. That's not the answer you were looking for but, truth be told, it's the reality of the situation. At least now you know how to prevent your tolerance skyrocketing to a point where it costs you a couple hundred dollars just to get a buzz (35-40 hits, jesus christ)....

30-40 hits AT ONE TIME? Holy shit batman8o8o

Exercise, drink plenty of water, eat healthy, get rest. Stay busy, keep yourself occupied with a job or something and the smoking will be more rewarding.

But honestly, it's simple science, you have to reduce your intake amount to lower tolerance effectively.

Thanks for the replies, I've been trying but still failing to lower intake amount.. Damn it. This is really burning a hole in my wallet.. but I mean if you're gonna smoke.. smoke the way bob did right? >.>

I don't know how old you are 420 but everyones body eventually gives up & flys the white flag. If you are unable to cut down try using edibles in combination with smoking. That way you only have to top yourself up & will not be inhaling as much smoke.

How long are your tolerance breaks? They should be at least 2 weeks and you probably need closer to a month.

40 hits per session, all day everyday must be wrecking your lungs. Personally Id quit smoking period, your vital organs are more important than THC fogginess.
