G'day everyone! I should be putting this into the 'Intro section' I think, but really - who cares aye? Too tired and to give a damn guys sorry.
I have lurked here and the rest of the net a long time, but this is the first time posting here so g'day.
On a different note I thought I would like to give a view on something that I feel a lot of people look by - low level opiate withdrawal. I am talking about things like Tramadol and Codeine here. These "weak" drugs are deceptively dicey and I would advise people that even these drugs can give you a kick in the pants if you abstain from them after a period of use.
I am a regular tramadol user - having taken at least 400mg daily for over a year now. On and off I have a doctor at the pain clinic co prescribe up codeine of which I take too fast (usually at a rate of 400 or so mg a day). Recently I started taking VALPRO 200 (Sodium valporate) at a rate of 400-600 mg a day.
Opiate withdrawal even with these 'weak' drugs is bad. I haven't used anything 'harder' but there is certainly a sluggishness that overshadows everything when I run out. Diarrhea, nausea, and just a general 'fuck everything' attitude along with a constant headache and feeling like your are going to fall over all seem to be present with these drugs/doses.
So what is the moral of this story? Don't know. Just saying to everyone that even if you think that crunching down on Tramal and Panadeine Forte is a great idea of fun - just note that you are in for a bit of a come down.
