Low Dose Methoxetamine as a onetime means of stress reduction: does it have merit?

Some of my relatives had a housing problem so I took them in my home, hospitable as I am. Problem is though, I'm a raging sociophobe due to a problematic past. The net result is that for 5 weeks I had epic mounting stress, until finally, today, they got on a plane this morning and flew to my freedom =D

I decided to use Methoxetamine unusually: to take just 10mg sublingually not for entheogenic purposes but to unwind and help lower my stress level.

Thats now 1:30h ago. Intoxicationwise I feel like I helped myself to the good part of a bottle of wine (I don't drink) so I'm pleasantly and considerably intoxicated. My body is loose, the tight muscles are completely relaxed to the point of a wobbly gait, all tension has left my body and mind. I feel like I just had a Thai massage, body and mind fully at peace, pleasant considerable intoxication.

So yay, success!

Or is it?

Do you feel longterm stress is positively affected by low dose MXE? Medium and high dose MXE with all its spectacle and sensation certainly adds stress, but is this true for the longer term?

In the coming week, would you feel the MXE will add to my replenishment or my stress, in a mere 10mg dosage? Drinking a bottle of wine can certainly add to longterm relaxation if your mindset is right, can the same be said for an equivalent dose of 10mg MXE sublingually?

I'm on the fence about this one, to be honest. I think long term stress is very detrimental to your health; http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/04/120402162546.htm but I'm also a firm believer in solving the underlying issues that causes stress.

So on one hand I can't fault you for trying to relieve your stress by other means than therapy, and I feel I benefit greatly by moderate cannabis use, but if your issues affect you this much, where your health could be at risk; relieving it by using a drug might not be the best option.

I like MXE. I use it once, twice a month. It has, just like cannabis, the almost magical ability to make you forget what you were stressing [or thinking too much] about. The way MXE builds up tolerance however might cause problems in the long run.

If you feel you're not getting the relief from 10mgs just upping the dose is unwise. It could lead you to a bad place, and that would cause stress which you need to relieve, and thus a vicious cycle begins.

What extraordinary circumstances are concerned, like the one you were in, well, to preserve sanity sometimes drastic measures are required.

You could confine your anti-stress MXE use to such events, and keep the dose low?
