Who else feels that on a single hit, LSD improves rather than inhibits your perceptiveness, deduction, reflexes, ability to read people and situations, and emotional clarity? At low doses - I'm guessing they're around 80 mics for me - I find the headspace so crystal clear, that 'normal' consciousness feels sluggish and confused by comparison. Far from feeling like I'm on something, it's like I'm the way I should be, all the time. If not for the hangover, I could understand getting addicted to acid.

If there's a way to enter that focused and energised headspace without drugs, and without the loss of social skills (only real 'negative' at that level for me) permanently, I intend to find it.

I understand what you're saying. I have the same effects from 50-75 mcgs.

Meditation can bring you there too, but it's very difficult.
Try meditating while you're under the influence of 80mcgs, and try to take that feeling with you as you come down. The next days mediation should be easier and maybe more effective.

Slightly on topic: However I do find the ability to read people sometimes a disadvantage. *Almost* NO ONE speaks from the heart, and sometimes I want to make them aware of it. Bad me ;). But it is marvellously interesting, yes !

Yes. On my last LSD + 2C-E trip, I basically decided that I needed to try to approach that state as closely as possible in sobriety. I wanted to sustain it for the rest of my life, because I saw it as inherently superior. This is what led me to Taoism, which was extremely influential in my life, in a positive way I think.

I fully understand this, it is so easy for me to tell when people are lying and what they are feeling. It is so damn hard not to call them out on it even if you do, they always deny it at first and eventually they give in. Trying to learn to let go of this but it's so damn hard :/.

OT: I know exactly what you mean OP, meditating helps a lot. After constant meditating (hour a day) I would get random moments of that clarity and a general mood boost. Suggest trying it out.
