Off topic, but I can't reply to you as I don't have a mod mailbox anymore....thujone my man, here it goes :

Hi,

I wanted to be around. But I got quite the story. I had to have an ENT perform surgery on my sinuses, after years and years of issues, and a previous surgery with another ENT, where he sawed off my crooked septum, back in 2003, and also, before the surgery, I met a head nurse giving me papers related to the surgeries, I thought they went together, but no, each were seperate surgeries, when he told me at his office I would only have the one done. Well the other that I signed was cauterization of a small portion of the lower turbinates, basically like getting a really hard punch on the nose, breaking the mucus cartilage. Have been plagued by sinus issues since then, while he could have just have prescribed me some hydroxyzine when I told I'm allergic to birch and there's a lot of birch in my area of town. <snip>

After the surgery, I was given Abstrals 400ug, fentanyl pills that are like suboxones, because i'm on suboxone, it's my only real recourse for pain, patches aren't hard hitting enough.

Then I got an infection in one of my eye from the surgery and that's where everything went to shit, I thank my lucky stars, my vision is now back to where it was, but for 2 months, a catheter in my wrist for shooting up antibiotics and fent and an eye patch I could not remove...I gotta say it felt like being alive before video game consoles and computers didn't exist, even reading books with one eye is difficult.

So I want to apologize to the team for not being around or explaining myself, I owed you that, I'm getting a new pair of glasses tomorrow, right now I'm out of contact lenses since 3 weeks since my eye is fine and the CT scan showed that the physical integrity of the optical nerve was fine.

I should at least have tried to tell you before anyway. At least I got the oppurtunity to get high on opiates again, those Abstrals, woah, fent is boring I know, but after not getting any high from bupe, other than at some very random times, which are more rare than ever...only problem is I wasn't in the best shape to enjoy them, even IV'd with the antibiotics. Didnt know we had ampoules of fent before then.

I'll slowly come back as a regular user and maybe if you guys wanna, I can go back to my old job later. I tell ya, physical pain aint nothing compared to psychological pain, at least when prolonged, one you get used to, the other not-so-much. So, I've actually been doing great, just was unable to participate. I don't think I've been mods long enough to request a Bluelight Crew title, anyway, I don't mind being a mod after re-injecting myself into the convos for a while.

Have a good evening,
~TRO
