Maybe it is destined to end
Maybe it's never begun
But nearing now

Balanced footways on a dimesize edge
We look out together
Hold my hand, tell me what to do

You were there with me
Now that you've left us
What ever did happen?

It falls apart, silently slipping
Fading in the night
Now see what you've done, silly girl?

You'd held me close
Just to
Just to rape my heart with blackened lovenotes

It since faded
And you'd walked on
You gambled; threw me away

Head buried down neck-length
Words drowning my ears out
I cried for everything I had ever done
I cried for anything that could bring you back

Dried tear ducts under flesh of an apathetic boy
Yielding exactly what they were given
She was something once, before a mother's word
Discarded hearts and minds
You were someone who was there only as a goal
And nothing real can come from that.

i loved this part.

I knooooow, I love that part too. It always reminds me of a Mars Volta lyric.
