Love is something I thought I'd never find
I never believed myself capable of loving
But I found that I can love
Ant it's harder than I've ever dreamed
You have made me feel
Emotions I never thought I could
But pride is in the way of our happiness
And I just can't seem to let go
When the nights are cold
I think of you and I am warmer
And I need to have you here
Your love makes my day a little bit brighter
Love snuck up on me
I never expected to end up loving you
But I have fallen hard
And I don't think I'll ever recover
I know it's there, that you felt it too
And fighting it has me feeling blue
I just wish I could believe
This is really happening between you and me
My love is yours now and forever
I'm going to trust we can stay together
It will be hard but it's so true
There's nothing that I wouldn't do for you

Surprisingly enough I am no longer with the man who inspired me to write this, the feelings are still there for him though. Life's about timing and neither of us had enough time to work through our baggage before love overtook us.
He will always have a place in my heart for teaching me to love myself.
