Hello again jealousy
It hasn't been long enough
Once again I’m too close to what's not mine
Once again saying goodbye is tough

I know it’s not me you love
I know it’s not my incandescent smile that lights up your day
I know it’s me who draws to close
I know it’s me who stands in his way

I should have had the courage to take that kiss
I should have resisted the softness of your touch
I should have given more the subtle indications
I couldn't have known I need you this much

I know it’s not me who freezes your spine
I know it’s not me who makes your knees weak
I know it’s just me who cries
When its you who will not speak

Goodbye again my love
Seem you’re lost to a more courageous cause
When will I learn to speak up
When will I win these love wars

Lovers win when both surrender...the fighting in your poem makes that clear.
