Lost Dex refill, Doctors say no!! Grrr

I left my bag on the bus here in Toronto just a day after I got my refill, my doc is on vacation, and the lousy ER doctors say too bad! I even showed them old bottles and receipts. I'm so mad (and withdrawaling), what do I do? just wait 3weeks till my doc is back?

All you can really do is wait til your doc gets back. You'll probably sleep a lot for a couple of days, but dex withdrawal isn't really the kind of thing that will kill you. It's more the kind of thing that's as bad as you make it. Go out, stay busy, maybe you'll find at the end of 3 weeks that you're happier and more productive without it.

You'll sleep and eat a lot. That happened to me this month (except my bag got stolen). Luckily I only withdrew for 3 days b/c my doctor agreed to write a new one for the remainder of the month. If you've taken it for years like I have, it'll be hell for about 1 week, then you'll start to feel nice and calm and productive.
